"We have really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Location is quite convenient and close to the beach. A couple of supermarkets are around within a walking distance.

The apartment itself is clean and has everything you need.

It is ideal for staying with children because it has a lot of space to play in the yard."

"Perfect place to stay to explore east and south part of Sicily. Very hospitable owners - they take us from the bus stop when we arrived to Avola and bring us back after the end of our stay. They can help you in all questions or inquiries you will need during your stay. Appartment is brand new established, big space, completely independent, fully equiped, WiFi for free, etc. Highly recommend! We will come back next time for sure."

"This was the second time...

  • 5 of 5

"This was the second time that we spent time in Avola in the Gallitto’s house.

Our family stayed in two apartments depending on the amount of people that were visiting. The middle apartment is good for a family of 3-4 incl. kids. The bigger apartment can totally fit 6 people.

Apartments have entrances on both sides which is good for kids to run around and there is always a lot of fresh air. The place is safe because kids run and play behind the fence and there is quite much space. Apartments are equipped with all appliances that you need away from home. Only one thing that would help is a microwave oven to warm up food.

The house has a very convenient location – it is about 200 m from the nearest beach, 300 m from the central kids playground and within a bike ride distance to the food store and vegetable sellers. Avola itself has a very strategic location – only 50 min by bus from Fontanarossa. What is important, our stay did not require renting a car unless we wanted to travel for Sicily sightseeings (Noto, Syracuse, Ragusa, Modica) or shopping in Catania.

The food is great! In the end of May we ate all kinds of fresh fruits that we get only in August in St.Petersburg.

Every morning our favorite baker delivered wonderful pastry and bread. The fisherman passes by with fresh fish, squids and shrimps. There is also a fruit and vegetable cart passing by in the morning and actually you just have to open the gate and stop them to buy what you need. In the evening we had dinners at home or there are nice places on the embankment to eat out.

Of course, Nero d’Avola is now our favorite wine.

The attitude to us was fantastic. We felt part of the owner's family as they are very friendly and helpful.

Total stay – 6 weeks. Kids stayed the whole period, parents and granny shifted."

Ad Avola come a casa nostra!

  • 4 of 5

Basta altrimenti piango! :'-(

Provate e ne rimarrete stregati!
