350m2 house with three South facing Terraces in the Julian Alps.
Peaceful Location In A Small Rural Village, with Our Own River Frontage in exquisite countryside, near the Soca valley. Airports close by include Trieste (1 hour 15 mins), Ljubliana (1,5 hours) and Venice (2 hours). This is a large property (350 sq m) with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There are three terraces, all facing south, two for BBQ's and one for the swimming pool. The house has recently been fully restored to a very high standard. The main living room is 45ft long with a bar, seating area and original barn doors and beams, which is great for parties. The kitchen is huge with a central island and Italian ceramic flooring leading to a large patio with outdoor furniture overlooking the river. Their are two 42" TV's, WII and Playstation and lots of DVD's. Food and drink locally, is excellent and surprisingly cheap. There is central heating for the winter months. We provide all bedding, towels and beach towels.

After 20 years with a European job with a lot of traveling I found Slovenia was an unexplored gem. My wife also fell in love with the countryside, the warm summers and the friendly people so we bought the house just after Slovenia joined the EU. We have never regretted it

Why Owner chose Most na Soči
This was a large property crying out for modernisation. It took almost 6 years to complete the project which was a lot of fun. So now we have a modern equipped house in a traditional Farmhouse style. The beamed top-floor louge with the orginal barn doors is stunning. Since we arrived, so have local Restaurants and supermarkets ,such as Aldi (Hofer) have arrived that now open on Sundays. This is very useful if you arrive late on a Saturday night! You can get pizza until 11:00 pm in Most na Soci.
What makes this Villa unique
The house is in a quiet valley with access to the Mountains (Bovec, Cerkno, Kirn). The Soca valley is the center of extreme water sports down the River Soca. Surrounded by Forested Mountains rising to over 9000 feet (Mount Triglav) the area is breathtakingly beautiful! Traveling down the Soca valley to Brda is the wine-region which has a Tuscan "feel" as well as producing excellent wine. Traveling further afield is Venice (2 hours), Ljubliana, the Postojna Caves are all within two hours. Bovec and Cerkno Ski Centres are only one hour away. Our spacious house faces South so you can have sun throughout the day.

Was a fantastic house! Thoroughly enjoyed it! A lot bigger in person and has great space for everyone. There were 10 of us and it almost didn't feel like it as the bedroom are spaced out perfect as well as having multiple lounging areas. We even managed to dip into the pool in October! Perfect for us, not too far from the town of Tolmin where the local Aldi and Mercater were, great for top up on food and wine. We even managed to go Kayaking on Lake Bohinj in October too which was about 90mins away by car. You could get the train also but we already had hired cars for the journeys.

I cannot rate this villa highly enough - we had a truly wonderful time. The villa itself is beautiful - so lovingly restored. It is immaculately clean and has so much space. There were 10 of us plus a toddler and at no point did we feel on top of each other.
The facilities (pool, BBQ, sun loungers, kitchen gadgets) were all great and the location is close to perfection. The owners were so helpful in providing information prior to our stay and the hosts next door were incredibly helpful and kind throughout the week.
It really is our happy place and we are already planning our return!
Beautiful, spacious house, excellent location
Very accurate description, if anything the house is even better in real life! Extremely clean, fantastic facilities, loads of space and lovely location. The owner was very prompt, helpful and delightful to deal with. The neighbours who are the point of contact for the guests out there are really great too! We were given lots of information about local restaurants, travel by train to lakes, directions to nearby gorge, waterfall and activities etc. Did as much as we could and still enjoyed time by the pool. White water rafting was a first for us!

Fijn huis in een prachtige omgeving
Dit zeer ruime, gezellige huis staat in een prachtige omgeving.
Door de indeling en alles wat er aanwezig is in en rond het huis is het een fijne plek om tijdens je vakantie te verblijven.
Het huis heeft meerdere terassen met een bbq en het zwembad is ideaal tijdens de warme dagen. In de meivakantie troffen wij het enorm met het weer en hebben de kids bijna elke dag wel gezwommen.
Vanuit Klavze zijn er vele mogelijkheden om uitstapjes te maken .
Prachtige wandeltochten en ook met de trein naar Bled is erg leuk.
Wij gaan al meerdere jaren op vakantie naar Slovenie en gaan dit zeker in de toekomst weer doen.
Sehr schönes Haus! Gut eingerichtet! Terrassen und Pool wunderbar! Wir haben den Urlaub mit der ganzen Familie sehr genossen!
