Sammy Pangle purchased this cabin in 2005
It's location right off of Scenic Hwy 11/Hwy 178 and in the foothills of the Blue Ridge make this cabin a gateway to all of your adventure/entertainment/relaxation needs.
The views off the back deck are truly unbelievable, and the sound of the waterfalls below the cabin are intoxicating.
My wife and I spent one week in this cabin. It was a great time and the Cabin meet 100% of our needs. Very spacious, great views and very private - we never heard a sound from any one the entire week we were there.
There are only minimal items in the cabin as clearly noted so we came prepared. We cooked most of our meals in the cabin since we never ate out. For the most part, everything required was available, but there were a couple items we used from our personal supplies. My wife does not uses a dish washer so we had to get some dish detergent since most uses a dish washer.
We would stay again if we are in the area.
The cabin was a very clean and comfortable cabin! The amenities were perfect! We have added it to our favorites, and hope to visit again in the near future. We will recommend it to our friends and family! Thank you for answering the few questions we had while we were there; we appreciate the fast response time. Thank you for allowing us the use of your place!
We stated for 4 nights at Sammy's property near Sunset, SC. It is a nice 3 bedroom home as the pictures show. He keeps it simple so don't expect frills. It has what the pictures show as far as places to lounge and places to sleep. For the price I was very impressed. The home location is in a golf course community but you are not at all close to a green. The evenings were very quiet except for the sounds of nature. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, and we took a short hike to the neat little water falls that is at the back of the golf course. We enjoyed 2 days on the nearby lakes and also did a day of hiking to waterfalls. I would be pleased to stay at this property again. Sammy was also super quick with responding to any questions or needs.
We spent two nights at this cabin. All wood from top to bottom, very unique. It was very spacious; we loved the high ceiling. Very close to Table Rock State Park where you can do all your day activities, then come home to this relaxing retreat. The house is in a nice and quiet neighborhood, close to nature. Sammy is always ready to answer any question and is prompt. We would love to stay here again.
The cabin is just as described and pictured in the photos. The living/dining area is spacious, open and leads onto a huge deck. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the master was surprisingly large with a nice attached bath. The cabin is close to the town of Pickens, SC for dining/grocery shopping and is also near several state parks in the area, such as Table Rock for fishing, hiking, and outdoor recreation. Sammy was very responsive during the reservation process and duration of our stay. We would encourage friends to stay here and hope to stay again in the fall.
