The space

Hi there and welcome to our flat. We’re looking for some awesome guests to keep our happy home while we’re out of town. It’s located in Central London's Islington neighbourhood on Oakley Road which is a beautifully tree lined street with Victorian conversions. It’s not a through street to busy roads so it's super quiet yet a short walk to Islington’s happening hub, Upper Street or to trendy Shoreditch/Hackney.

The inside is very spacious (especially for London standards) at just over 700sq ft with its own private entrance. We recently renovated the entire flat from the kitchen, floors, bathroom, and garden – all with new appliances for you to use including a new oven, washing machine, and dishwasher.

It’s classic London architecture updated for the 21st century. From our giant vintage map to the photos on the wall, the interior reflects our passion for travelling. Besides the design, one of our favourite things about the flat is the abundance of natural light we receive because of our south facing windows and skylights on the extension. Soak it in!

First stop on the tour is the bedroom – it’s very spacious. As avid travellers, we know that a bed can make or break a trip. That’s why we provide our guests with clean luxury linens on our double bed that are so comfortable you’ll probably want to bring them home with you!

There’s also a full sized pull out couch that sleeps an additional two people. We how important it is to have fresh clean and fluffy towels and linens so we source these from a professional company for each guest.

Next stop is our stunning outdoor garden perfect for a bottle of wine and an evening barbecue. Put your feet up. You’ll need to after an eventful day exploring the city. The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances - everything you'd expect to cook at home is there: a Bosch refrigerator, new oven/stove, dishwasher, toaster, kettle to boil water, and a french press for coffee.

A few other bonuses we have to mention… we have fast wifi, there is private parking outside for bicycles and plug converters if you’re coming from abroad. We have a hair dryer for the ladies, shower gel and shampoo and clean fluffy towels for everyone. For your comfort and safety we have installed Nest thermostat and smoke alarm.

If we’re not around to greet you, our friends at Hostmaker will let you in, give you a tour, and provide you with awesome food and entertainment recommendations for London. They're a hospitality management service team of Londoners. We trust them to give you a warm welcome! Hostmaker will look after you. Charming Flat

This flat is very much as described; peaceful, charming, and well-appointed . Great location, easy 10 minute walk to train station, great restaurants, and markets. The host was very prompt upon arrival and kept in touch as well. Would highly recommend this flat and look forward to booking this flat again in the future.

Great Flat

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely appointed flat. It was very close to bus stops which easily gets you to several nearby tube stops. Great little neighborhood with groceries, pubs and chip shops nearby. The bath and kitchen are modern and the bedroom is quite roomy. The pullout couch is new and comfy. The bed and bath linens are top notch. Being part of Hostmaker, someone meets you at the apartment to give you all the information you need. Very well organized.

Beautiful house, fit my family comfortably.

The surroundings are quiet and outdoor garden is lovely for a cup of tea.

Everything I needed was close by - bus stops, gardens to walk around, groceries stores.
