This brand new remodeled 800 sq ft apartment will be a very comfortable place to stay during your next trip to LA! It is centrally located to Downtown LA, USC, Koreatown, Staples Center. Easy access to Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Culver City, Silverlake and Hollywood!

The apartment offers a combination of sleek modern Scandinavian/ Mid-Century/Retro design along with a charming, comfortable and cozy setting. High ceilings, skylights and open flow floor plan with an industrial flair. Very secure and private. It has a full kitchen, a modern full bathroom, dining area as well as a living room/lounge area. The apartment has natural light, a queen size memory foam bed, two twin size tempurpedic memory foam beds (can be turned into a king size bed), 37' flat screen TV, quality bed linens and towels. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, cook top, stove, microwave/hood, coffee machine, toaster, pots, pans, cutlery and plates. There are two bedrooms in this apartment. One room has a queen size bed and the other room has two twin size XL beds that can be joined into a King size bed. One twin size XL sofa bed in living room. One twin XL size tempur-pedic twin XL mattress in side the apartment and two air mattresses available.

Located within a walking distance is a grocery store/market and dance studios.

Wonderful dreamy experience!

Our staying experience couldn't be better at Linda's house and we don't even want to leave at all. It's very conveniently located in a very quiet neighbourhood.Parking is easy too. We had everything we need inside of the house during our stay. Linda was very responsive. We had a wonderful experience in LA! Thank you for everything:)

clean but not at all quiet

My parents and I booked a stay here when we came to LA last week to move my son into his dorm at USC. We chose this place because reviews said it was clean, and it was a quick drive to the USC campus. However, although we read a bunch of reviews for the property on VRBO and another site before booking, we didn't remember anyone mentioning how loud it is! While it was clean and a convenient location for us, it is right on a busy road that cars drive down fast at all hours of the night (not to mention non-stop zumba music all day until about 8 or 9 p.m.). The extremely bright street lights outside mean that it is never dark inside, even with all of the shades down, and we all woke up multiple times during the night thinking that it must be daytime and time to get up. If you already live in a city with lots of noise and bright lights then these things might not bother you, but we would not stay here again. The neighborhood is a little sketchy and there didn't seem to be any good restaurants within walking distance. Also thought it odd that we got hand towels and bath towels but no washcloths. We did not actually meet Linda but she was pleasant to deal with and we had no problems checking in or out.

Property clean, terrible parking & sketchy neighborhood.

My family and I rented this property for two nights April 17th - 19th for a quick trip to see LA attractions while visiting family. We arrived later in the evening, realized there isn't parking besides outside owners driveway and car has to be moved by 9am to the street where there isn't easy parking. I knew the neighborhood wasn't great when I booked so if you are not familiar with the area or do not feel comfortable walking in sketchy neighborhoods to get to your vehicle then I would not recommend this place. The apartment is located in an old business building in front of owners house, it was clean and nicely decorated with IKEA. The a/c was programmed to stay a little warm and we turned it on once we arrived which took half the night to cool. There is laundry outside on owner's property that you have to pay for so have your quarters ready. Also, property is surrounded by apartments so I was leary leaving my laundry as it washed. The owner's husband asked me to move our vehicle off driveway so he could get his vehicle out before 9am. I moved vehicle to street since it had to be moved by 9am anyways and I got a parking ticket for $70+ which was pretty disappointing. There is nowhere to hang outside so it's a clean place to sleep with a kitchen and not much more. I know we could have found a more comfortable place for same price. Staying at a hotel would have been cheaper, easier with more amenities. I would rather pay for parking at hotel than receive a ticket that was more than paying for parking at a hotel. Owners are friendly and the apartment is really cute. Do not stay here if you are not familiar with LA neighborhoods or area. Be prepared to search for parking and most likely you will have to park your car far away from apartment on the street. This property should not be a vacation rental. It would work better as a furnished apartment for a long term renter. Obviously, I wouldn't stay here again and do not recommend staying here. There are nicer rentals, centrally located with more amenities to make your trip comfortable and easy.

Owner's Response: Sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay. As mentioned, we live on site and our guests never had any incidents with safety at the rental or around the apartment. Most of the furniture in the apartment is custom made in Los Angeles (not IKEA). As mentioned in the instructions, parking is free in the area. You must have parked your car on street cleaning, which is the only time you might get a parking ticket in the area. Street cleaning time and days are mentioned in the house manual/instructions and there are signs on the actual street. The air conditioning can be adjusted by the guest and is not pre-set to a specific temperature. Our laundry machines are commercial laundry machines that work with quarters. It is very safe and secure and gated, so no problems to do laundry at our place.

Great stay!!

The location of the property was central to all the places we needed to see as described by the owner. The property is clean and the owner- Linda was very kind and understanding to our needs before and during our visit. We just wish the parking was a little better. We typically returned around 10pm and there was no street parking available. We were able to park on the owner's driveway, but had to move our vehicle by 8:30am/9am.
