About Tony & Pauline Severs
We have just realised our dream of buying a beautiful home in Brittany after living and working in the city all our lives. We often holidayed in Brittany when our children were young and loved the relaxed way of life, the friendliness of the locals, the mild climate and of course the food.
Tony & Pauline Severs purchased this Cottage in 2016
Why Tony & Pauline Severs chose Crédin
Rose and Lavender Gites are beautiful Breton stone cottages set in a quiet rural location with lovely views of the surrounding countryside, yet, close enough to all amenities. This area is typical of rural France and is ideal for walking and cycling. The Brest-Nantes canal is a short stroll away and has clean, safe cycle and walking paths for miles. Nearby are a number of lovely medieval towns, Josselin, Rochefort en Terre, Pontivy and the regional capital Vannes and the Rennes are all a short drive away.
What makes this Cottage unique
The location of the cottages are ideal for exploring beautiful Brittany. The ferry ports at St Malo and Roscoff are less than 2 hours away as well as local airports at Rennes, Dinard and Nantes, making it an easy journey from England. The beautiful southern Brittany beaches such as Quiberon and L'Orient and the amazing standing stones at Carnac are all about an hour's drive away. Nearer still is Lac au Duc a large inland swimming lake and beach with a range of water-sports and sailing as well as a public golf course which is an easy 20 minute drive away.

Wonderfull place. Very nice People
Lavender Cottage was a wonderful house. Very nicely decorated and very clean. The garden and the whole Umgenung were very nice. Pauline and Tony were very loving and helpful hosts. They worried and inquired. You have thought of everything. Not only the cot was very cute prepared. There was even a stair gate. We can only recommend anyone to go to Pauline and Tony to go on vacation. We will be back.
Thank you for your lovely review of your stay in Lavender Cottage. We are very happy that you enjoyed your holiday and look forward to welcoming you back in the future.
We had a lovely week in Rose cottage. The cottage has everything you could want - really well equipped kitchen, cosy lounge, very comfortable beds, great garden with a fab view and games and swings for our daughter!
Tony & Pauline made us feel very welcome and gave us plenty of tips on local attractions. We'd love to stay again Caroline, Dave & Abi.
Thank you so much for your lovely review of your stay with us. We are so glad that you enjoyed your holiday here and look forward to welcoming you back in the future.
Superb cottage, wonderful hosts
Rose cottage is lovely. Comfortable and extremely well furnished and equipped, beautifully presented. Set in a beautiful location with views to die for. So peaceful, just what we needed for our weeks stay.
Lots of great places to visit and most easily accessible from Credin the nearest village to the cottage.
Tony & Pauline are amazing hosts, so helpful, and lots of good tips on where to visit and they manage all of this without being intrusive.
We can thoroughly recommend both cottages (we were shown around Lavender cottage).
Tony & Pauline clearly take pride in their gites and so they should, after only 18 months in the business they have worked hard and are doing a brilliant job.
Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Thank you Barry & Helen for your lovely review. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us, we know you really wanted to just relax and re-charge your batteries, and Coet Moru Gîtes are the ideal place to do it. We hope to see you again sometime in the future.

Beautiful cottage set in peaceful countryside, with fantastic views. It’s just a few hundred metre from the Brest-Nantes canal.
We took our bikes and cycled the 23km to Josselin. It’s an extremely tranquil ride, with a few other cyclists and the odd barge to wave to en-route.
Josselin is a must if you visit this area.
There’s a very decent little supermarket in Brehan for your food shop.
Pauline and Tony are great hosts and even left us a bottle of traditional cidre as a welcome gift.
Thanks for your review of your stay in Rose Cottage. As you say, it's ideally placed for the nearby Brest-Nantes canal which is perfect for cycling or strolling, and yes, Josselin is a little jewel about 20 minutes away by car, about an hour by bike. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us and hope to welcome you back in the future.
A perfect base from which to explore Brittany.
We stayed in Rose cottage for a week and if you're looking for a quiet location from which to explore the delights of Brittany would thoroughly recommend it. A quiet, easy to access location with great countryside views and easy access to amenities. The property is well placed by the canal cycle path (worth taking your bikes!) with the local town of Rohan a leisurely 15 minute ride away, or slightly further in the opposite direction to the town of Josselin, whilst the fantastic south coast beaches are only an hours drive away. The property retains its traditional characteristics and is both comfortable and well equipped. Our 10 year old son enjoyed the outdoor space and soon made friends with the resident hens!
Thanks for your lovely review. We're so glad you and your family enjoyed your stay with us, and look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Pauline & Tony.
Charming gîte and wonderful hosts
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rose Cottage. The gîte is well equipped and beautifully furnished in a picture perfect location.
We used the gite as a base to explore the region and weren't disappointed. Particular highlights were St Goustan, Carnac and Vannes. Further afield the Pink Granite Coast is stunning - we spent a wonderful day exploring the many coves and villages that make up the coast.
Closer to home our daily walk with our puppy along the canal otter spotting was enjoyed by all. Peaceful and scenic.
The Crêperie in Rohon was superb and became a firm favourite with our children.
Pauline and Tony were great hosts - welcoming, discreet but available if we needed them with lots of tips on things to do and see. The children loved the chickens and were delighted to help find the eggs!!
We would thoroughly recommend both Gîtes and would be happy to return in the future.
Thanks for your positive review. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay with us and we're able to explore this beautiful area of France. The children really enjoyed playing in the garden and the dog enjoyed some long walks alongside the canal. We would be happy to welcome you back in the future. Pauline and Tony
Abbaye du Timadeuc is a lovely cistercine monastery just 5 minutes from the house. It is open to the public for mass or just a look around. It has a shop selling its own range of homemade cheeses and other items.
