I love my cottages and I love Northumberland. I am married and the mum of three (nearly grown up) boys.
Why they chose this property
Juliet Cottage is rumoured to have been built to house Italian artisans who were working at Alnwick years ago. I haven't investigated this story though at all, I was just told it by a couple of locals.
The cottage has unbelievably thick walls and backs on to the ancient town walls of Alnwick.
