Come enjoy our beautiful Craftsman style home in the historic Alameda Depot District in the downtown area and near the famous Farmers Market.

Our home is warm and inviting with 3-bedrooms, 3 full baths (with jetted tub in master bath) with large open kitchen, wet bar and wine chiller, separate sitting area, flat screen tv, wireless internet access, and washer and dryer.

Our home is beautifully landscaped in both the front and back outdoor living areas.

The original part of the house was built in 1946 and has been recently renovated to include all the modern amenities without losing its original charm.

Relax or entertain on the large deck with the tranquil sounds of a waterfall and fish pond and views of the Organ Mountain peaks.

You will love the proximity to downtown, two parks, the first within half a block includes a swimming pool and tennis courts.

The Farmers Market is only a few blocks away as is downtown Las Cruces. You'll also enjoy a five-minute drive to Old Mesilla, a quaint little town with shopping and restaurants where you can enjoy the local New Mexican cuisine.

If you enjoy mountain climbing or exploring new sites, the Organ Mountains and White Sands National Park are within driving distance.

About Owner/Property Manager

I enjoy running daily with my dog Harley, a beautiful black lab who hates water. I grew up in the southwest and love the desert - there's nothing like the smell of the desert after it rains! Hiking the beautiful Organ mountains will be one of my favorite things to do when my husband Robert and I move to Las Cruces.

Cooking is one of my hobbies and I love cooking New Mexican and Mexican cuisine- I make a mean roasted chile (pepper) salsa!

My husband Robert and I look forward to someday moving to Las Cruces to the beatiful home you'll enjoy on your vacation in this beautiful oasis in the desert.

Robert and I bought this home in Las Cruces because we fell in love with it as soon as we saw it. We love the downtown historic area of Las Cruces and are glad our home fits right in this beautiful neighborhood.

You'll love watching the sunrise on the huge deck in the beautifully landscaped backyard to the sounds of a waterfall in the coy pond.

In the evening you can enjoy watching the sunset sitting in the front porch on our two comfortable rocking chairs.

Charming and stunning!

Beautiful home! From the outside it looks like a small charming home but once you step in its stunning! Kitchen and every room is Updated with 3 bedrooms 3 bathrooms, lots of privacy. Super clean and well stocked. Owners are very thoughtful and available for any questions. They have lots of brochures available of places to visit and eat. Close to shopping and restaurants. We highly recommend this home. We visited Hatch and bought chli, we drove up to Santa Fe although it's 4 hours it's worth the drive, so leave early. We stopped in Albuquerque too. White sands national monument is a must visit just 49 minutes away. We had a great time. We've stayed in many vacation rentals and this is one of the best!!!

Relaxing place for Spring break.

This was the perfect place for a Spring break- both for us as a couple, and when our daughter and young family came to visit. It has everything you need, with a nice kitchen and spaces for a toddler to explore. The quiet deck for reading, a grill, and the gold fish pond in the back were hits. It's in the Railroad-Alameda district, a quiet revived historic district that is easy walking distance to the Farmers Market, museums - and a great bookstore, downtown. It's about a 10 minute drive to Mesilla or NMSU, and about 20 minutes to Organ Mountain National Monument, so it's a good place for a headquarters. Martha was responsive and answered all our questions.

Perfect home base for the Bataan Memorial Death March!

My wife and I, along with another couple, came here for the Bataan Memorial Death March at White Sands Missile Range. This charming house is located in a quiet neighborhood that we found very convieniently located for everything we wanted to do such as running back and forth to WSMR for packet pickup or to meet WWII Bataan survivors. There are good restaurants convienient to this house including High Desert Brewery.

The house is set up with two bedroom areas. We had plenty of privacy as both couples had bedrooms at the opposite ends of the house. Also with three bathrooms and three bedrooms this place is great for three couples or families.

The furnishings and decor were very tasteful. We cooked three meals to carb load before the race and had everything we needed. We used the washer and dryer for our Death March clothes before flying home.

The deck, back yard with Koi pond, grill that we used for steaks, outdoor furniture and beautiful stars gave us another space to enjoy.

Bottom line, this was the perfect spot for us to fully enjoy our Bataan Death March experience. Highly recommended!

Very cozy beautiful house

Loved loved this house the only things that I thought cud have been changed was first the chair cushions be put on the back deck close to chairs and more tv's only 1 in the entire house. The master bedroom at least with a television, but overall I'd stay in this house again.
