Overview

About the property

Renovated 1940's Cabin Tucked In The Rolling Hills Of Highway 46 West

Very cute and updated cabin tucked in the middle of wine country under beautiful oak trees and rolling hills. This cabin has a full bath (rustic shower trough tub), living area with full kitchen, and new queen size bed. Cabin has amazing views of local vineyards and is only 2 miles from town and 15 miles to the beach.

This cabin was originally built in the 40's during WWII and was used on Camp Roberts as a military bunker. Its a very unique, charming, quite, cozy place to stay. Ride your bike or drive to local winery's or take a 15 minute drive to the beach. We are right off Highway 46 West. Located in the 'Templeton Gap' you can escape the heat, guaranteed cooler weather here with a slight afternoon breeze from the coastal influence.

Free parking, out door space, BBQ, and gorgeous views. Less then 1 mile from Paso Port, Hunt Cellars, Niner Wine Estates, Eagle Castle, Fat Cat Farm, Lone Madrone Winery, Shale Oak Winery, Red Soles Winery, Linne Calodo Cellars, Turley Wine Cellars and many more.

Owners live on property but your stay will be very private. We have a ranch dog, Percy but she is very friendly. We also have outdoor cats and livestock.

Charming, well-appointed cabin in the heart of wine country

  • 5 of 5

Everything you could ever need, plus so many extras. Beautiful, peaceful and private setting in a perfect location for the west end wineries. Slept like a rock after a night making s'mores and great bird watching right at the cabin. The trough tub and rain shower along with stocked coffee and creamer was a nice way to start the day. Percy the lab and the sweetheart of a cat also came to say hello. Everything was so easy too - getting there, accessing the cabin and heading out I the morning. We will be back for sure. Thank you for wonderful stay!

Quaint and cozy cabin in the middle of wine country

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed here for the weekend. We were greeted by the The owners who are super friendly and made sure we had everything upon check-in. There are many great wineries nearby and a couple within walking distance. The cabin was very nice and clean. Downtown Paso Robles is only a 10 minute car ride. We used the kitchen, BBQ, and outside fire pit and all of them were perfect. This cabin is a lovely getaway for two looking to unwind and enjoy the simpler things. Will definitely be back !!

This is such a beautiful place to stay! We can't wait to come back again!

  • 5 of 5

This was our third trip to Paso. We wish we'd known about this spot for the first two visits also. The Cabin is 'rustic' in name and charm but absolutely delightfully appointed. The views from the windows overlooking the pastures and beyond was idyllic. Very comfy bed, and everything you could need. Even s'mores fixin's! Great location, easy to find, close to all of our favourite vineyards and tasting rooms. And it's dog friendly!

The cutest little cabin that ever was

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay so much! We only wish we could have spent more time. It may look like a tiny rustic cabin, but it has everything you need. Staci has thought of everything as a host- a sweet welcome note attached to the keys, water and a few snacks in the fridge, the makings for s'mores to use outside over the fire pit (so fun!!), coffee, a binder with info and tips on places to go in the area, dvd's, and even a few things that often get forgotten when packing, like band-aids and bug repellant! We really appreciated all of these little details! The cabin was very comfortable, temperature was great and easily controlled, and the setting is beautiful!! The view was so nice to open the windows to in the morning. I also have to note for any of those that see the photos and think the bathroom looks a little too rustic, it's NOT! It was great. I've never seen a toilet like that, but everything worked just perfectly. Loved the shower, what a cool deign! We are hoping to come back again sometime!! Thank you Staci!

Lovely Cottage!

  • 5 of 5

Such a cute place. Perfect for a couples getaway for a few days. Great views, and within walking distance of a few wineries (we didn't try them,) and driving distance to some of the best in the area. Nicely decorated with lots of charm. S'mores were a nice touch!

Breath taking

We absolutely loved this place. The overall vibe of the rustic cabin, the views of rolling hills, the twinkle lights at night. I would definitely recommend this place and come back for another stay!
