Jacqueline welcomes you at her own house, which is actually her childhood home. She comes from very old family of fishermen of Biarritz. She is passionate about her city. Throughout Biarritz she is known as 'Madame Chapeau' because she was a milliner, like her mother before her, for more than 60 years in the city center. She has designed and decorated the heads of many French and Spanish women for years. She still has a few hats in her living room and she will be happy to let you try them.
She is always happy to share with you a story or two about Biarritz and its history, if you are interested.
Jacqueline she is a passionate supporter of Rugby and you can easily find the house because she has the flags of the Biarritz Rugby club 'Biarritz Olympique' at her window.

Stayed in the T4 apartment in Jacqueline's house in Biarritz a number of weeks ago. Location was very central (literally out the door and down steps to the St Eugenie Place (with the seafront beyond). We had two small kids with us (my wife and I) and were looking for something central but with good space and layout. The apartment proved great with loads of room (particularly on one or two of the days with rain) for them to amble around. The house/apartment is an older style (very typical French style) which we liked as it gave the full experience. We found the hostess to be very helpful (on arrival and throughout our stay). Everything was very relaxed and we enjoyed the stay thoroughly. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and I'd say we'll be back ourselves.
"Lovely self contained appartement in the heart of Biarritz directly overlooking Place Eugienee and the sea. Minutes from the Market and all Biarritz has to offer. Charming owners extreemly helpful and easy to deal with. Kitchen a little cramped but we were able to self cater very happily. Some noise on Saturday night, otherwise very peaceful. Street parking possible with a little endeavour, easy to find with owners directions - SatNnav confused by one way system. Securtity deposit a bit hefty but our sterling cheque was accepted and returned without question on departure. Hard to beat for a short stay."
"we could not have chosen a better place to stay, the pictures dont do justice to how nice this accomodation is. beautifully furnished and well equipped. Jacqueline was great and assisted us with our parking even though we arrived after midnight. there were many good recommendations in the flat for local restaurants and visits to local villages, dont miss the day trip to san sebastian... if we return to Biarritz I would not stay anywhere else"
"This lovely apartment was exactly as pictured in the advert. Spacious, modern conveniences with architectural charm and a million dollar view.
The owner is on site and her son is nearby. They are gracious and extremely helpful. If you need anything, they will help you.
Parking is available underground in the square in front of the apartment.
Restaurants and shops abound within a few steps. The bar at the bottom of the walkway from the apartment has free Wifi, cocktails and an ocean view. While this is an active area, the apartment is set back and is a quiet place to relax after long days of touring. I definitely would stay there again and recommend it highly."
"Perfect appartment if You want to live in center of everything in Biarritz. Shops, the market and restaurants very close, easy access to beaches. Wonderful view to the sea and the activities of sq. St.Eugenie below. We had no problems with the amenities."
"This was a lovely apartment, perfect situated in the midle of everything. There was two small issues. The shower was unstabel regarding hot/cold water and could not hang itself, it had to be handheld and in between it was very hot.
It was difficult to dry towels etc. as there was no outdoor place to hang up. We did miss a small place/balcony, but we did know this when we booked.Overall we really did enjoy our stay in this appartment."
