What makes this Studio unique
Former artists studio of a famous singer lady, the studio has a nice view over the rooftops of Paris and the sunset. In a typical Parisian building everything has been renovated with eco-friendly materials. This studio is very simple and convenient to use.

Lovely stay in the big city
We loved staying at Mafalda and Oliver’s flat on two separate occasions in the spring of 2019. They were very communicative prior to our arrival, with specific instructions starting with our exit from CDG airport, through the metros, walking down the streets, all the way to their door to pick up our key. Mafalada, speaking perfect English, was a great source of recommendations, both within walking distance from the flat and days trips around Paris and beyond. The apartment is a perfect location for shopping, markets, bakeries, etc with a metro only a 5 minute walk away (bus lines too, we didn’t take any). Our hosts also live a floor below so if there is anything you’d need they’re close by!
The apartment is clean, furnished appropriately, comfortable bed, small kitchen with pots and pans (two burner stove, don't expect to make anything elaborate), a very welcoming feel. The shower is a bit quirky: you’ll need to sit while bathing using the hose to rinse and wash as there is no shower hook nor curtain (can be typical in many older french apartments). The water is hot enough for less than 10 minutes, so plan on separating your bathing sessions. This proved to be a little difficult during the colder spring season in a non heated bathroom, but manageable. Also, there are wall and portable floor radiators that keep the rest of the apartment toasty if needed.
The staircase must be mentioned. It’s both whimsical and treacherous (again, typical in old European apartment buildings). Winds up 6 floors, very narrow, tilts a little in every direction, landings are brief. This could be a problem for guests with mobility issues. Mafalda and Oliver will be more than eager to help you upwards with the heavy luggage.
We were delighted with our time in Paris and this flat proved to be a gem of a homebase during our stay. We hope to visit again. À bientôt Mafalda e Oliver!

This apartment is located within a 10 minute walk of the Louvre, and much else. Shopping, cafes, and grocery stores, etc. are steps away. The location, in other words, is ideal. The apartment has a wonderful view through large windows, and is very cozy, surprisingly quiet and comfortable. It lacks nothing. The owner of the apartment communicates easily in English, is friendly and very knowledgable and helpful about all things Parisan. We would not hesitate to stay in this apartment again, should we have the good fortune of being able to return to this wonderful city.
Perfect location, lovely home and very good advice Merci !
A lovely Parisian flat. Safe to walk round day and night. Perfect location and pet friendly!
Cosy and great value
Cosy, quiet, good value place to stay in central Paris - with extremely helpful owner/manager
Location, location, location!
This small but comfortable room was just what we needed for our brief stay in Paris. Close to transportation, museums and other sites as well has having the market street just around the corner. Hostess was extremely helpful and offered lots of good advice.
Once again - a very good place in central Paris. The best location. Thanks Nadia.
