The rustic A-frame
Cute place and decorated very well. lots of rustic decor. Could use some maintenance-front door sticks, shower leaks, shower drains slowly, and refer too small. enjoyed our stay.
Thank you for staying with us Michael & Thank you ever so much for bringing these issues to our attention as a guest. We appreciate it when these things are brought to our attention so that we can address them for our future & returning guests. As far as the Vintage Fridge, we apologize it was to small for your stay with us.
Great little cabin fairly close to Crater Lake
Cabin was great and the owners were a pleasure to deal with. New Hot Tub was being set up the day we arrived so that's an added bonus for future guests. Decor was perfectly eclectic for just such a cabin.
Deer in the yard is a plus, as is the giant Teepee out back if you have a large group.
The only negative is that while the log chairs and sofa/bench go well with the decor, they aren't real comfy to sit on for more than a few minutes. Minor detail that didn't really impact our stay, but might if you plan a longer visit with a lot of indoor time.
A Gem of a Cabin
Max's Family Inn was the best experience of our many B&B stays! It was cozy, spacious, fascinating in the decor, well-organized, with many special touches for our comfort. Eddie and Teresa warmly welcomed us. They included wonderful fruit, coffee and breakfast items, even carrots to feed the local deer. A most remarkable, lovely place. We had to leave too soon!
Thank you so very much for the kind words and we are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay. Hope we meet again when you can stay longer..

Keno Kottage Koziness
Eddie is an affable host and brought us S'mores ingredients, fixed the pilot light in case we needed heat and was very helpful. We enjoyed this ten minute drive from Klamath Falls, avoiding chain motels for a fun stay at a rustic A frame that has all you need. Enjoyed the deer in the backyard. If you want a real cabin feel, this is the place....and the cafe in town has the best breakfast ever!
very nice and rustic looking
Very good help with everything and very good looking. I would stay there any time!!!!!
Pet friendly, convenient stay
We wanted to attend the Winter Wings Festival in Klamath Falls, and were looking for a reasonable rental that would also accept our canine companion. Max's Family Inn worked perfectly for us. Our host, Mr. Sanders, met us in Keno, and showed us the property. The inn is decorated in lodge style, and has interesting features and pictures. It has plenty of room, comfy beds, a full kitchen, and a big back yard. The neighborhood is quiet, residential, and the drive to our events was picturesque. We would have liked to tour Keno, and eat at the family cafe, but our trip was shortened by a medical emergency. Our host not only called to check on us after we got home, but also offered us the opportunity to complete our stay at a later date. Such courtesy and consideration are not the norm these days, and this made us appreciate our visit even more.
There are lots of things to do throughout the Seasons here in Keno.. Klamath Falls as well as Ashland & Medford are about an hour drive from Keno. Please check online for more information on the attractions outside of Keno.
