A fabulous 2 bedroom 2 bathroom south facing apartment, beautifully furnished to a very high standard. Fully air conditioned with heating if required for the cooler months. Nothing has been spared to make your Holiday as relaxing as possible, walking through the comfy lounge & onto the large 30 sq mtr terrace where you can look over the water features and pool areas within the 15,000 sq meters of landscaped gardens out towards the sea. A short stroll takes you to the pretty marina at Duquesa with its many bars and restaurants, or sit back with a drink on the terrace or have a barbecue in the gardens.


A little relaxation in style: As i am sure you can see from the photographs this is a lovely apartment from which to either chill-out or to use as a base to tour.If you play golf , the Trent-Jones designed golf course at La Duquesa is on your doorstep with up to another 30 courses within an hours drive

Mostly enjoyable.

+ Comfortable apartment with good layout. Very nice balcony with lovely views. La Duquesa marina has plenty of choice of restaurants and bars.

- We had to wash the Outdoor furniture and give the balcony a brush on arrival. Bathrooms really do need some attention (leaking taps, shower cubicle door wouldn't close properly, poor pressure and limited hot water even though the site was probably only 10% occupied. The frying pans need to be replaced, unusable. The lovely pool and gardens in the photo was closed, apparently only open between June - September. The smaller pool with much less attractive garden was open though. No BBQ available as expected. There are BBQ's in the play area, but they expect a €50 deposit for the grill which will be refunded when the grill is returned cleaned and the built in BBQ also cleaned.

Owner's Response: We are pleased you enjoyed your stay in Duquesa. As it was out of season and there has been a lot of work done when you visited the weather can vary as we have the benefit of a large terrace and open gardens/sea views, if we've had a lot of wind the terrace may get dusty and the cleaner may have prepared the apartment days earlier. We are not aware of leaky taps or cubicle door not closing we will certainly look at this, the pressure in the main bathroom is a lot more powerful than the cubicle shower. The water system is new and has been sufficient for many of our guests up to a family of six it heats up as you use it. Regarding the frying pan, thank you for advising will replace immediately. The gardens are accessible at all times via BBQ and play area. Spanish law dictates pools over certain size require a lifeguard at all times (June-Sep) As you stated the small pool was open as for gardens there, last year a lot of work was carried out. As your visit was out of season the gardens here just need week or two of costa sun to help the new plants along. The BBQ has always been in the communal area and in our opinion it's perfectly acceptable to leave a deposit and have it returned after use and cleaning. We thank you for your feed back

Great apartment

As described in the advert and more.

A very tidy and well kept apartment in a fairly large but ideally positioned and very secure complex.

The apartment had every thing you needed for a stress free relaxing break, the three swimming pools were great with plenty of sun beds and not at all busy. The size of the apartment was ideal for the four of us and was well equipped, my twin boys loved the new internet tv box.

We would recommend this apartment and would definitely go back to it again.

The owners were very helpful and easy to deal with and on site help if needed.

Thanks to Steve for letting us use the apartment at such short notice (Three days notice ) for a last minute break.

Great apartment in lovely gardens

We stayed 10 days in this apartment. Directions are provided if driving from the airport and we only took one wrong turning near the end of the journey.

The apartment is spacious, with a good sized terrace overlooking the pond and gardens. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay, including books and some games. It was very hot whilst we were there so we spent the afternoons in the apartment with the air conditioning on, and it was very comfortable. It's quiet there and it's a 5 minute walk down to a local food shop, or a 15 minute walk to the marina and shops. We had a hire car so took day trips out (e.g. to Gibraltar) but the kids' favourite thing was to stay at the pool. We primarily used one pool because it was shallow enough for the kids. We hadn't realised that you're not allowed inflatables in the pool, so we had to take them to the beach instead, however we did use other toys at the pool. The exterior decor of the apartment block is looking a bit shabby as it needs repainting but the apartment complex seems very well maintained overall and the staff were great.

Lovely family holiday

We had a great stay in Jackie and Steve's lovely apartment. Clean, well equipped and facing the garden and play area you have a lovely view to wake up to every day.

The pools were really clean and by mid September well and truly warmed up. There was a great little pool too by the main pool for our two under three year olds to play in.

The Marina has plenty of restaurants and everyone is super friendly and couldn't do enough for us, the ones we went too were also great with the kids, plus post season it wasn't too busy.

Having the car did help as it is quite a steep walk back up from the Marina, well steep for Granny and Grandpa! But parking in the apartment was great with your own parking slot under ground and really helpful staff on site.

Overall a lovely, peaceful place. We didn't explore much of the surrounding area choosing to relax locally but hopefully next time!

A relaxing summer holiday with a fantastic view !

We are a family of five and this was our 1st time here . We would recommend this apartment as it's is in a secure 24hr gated complex with underground secure parking to keep your car cool. It has three very clean pools with ample free sun loungers . The gardens and the pool area is maintained to a high standard daily and there were two lifeguards on full time at each pool. The apartment was spacious and was fully equipped with everything we needed plus extra touches ( soap, toilet roll,kitchen roll cling film etc ) when we arrived there was a welcome pack which also was a great help.

Duquesa Marina is about a 10 minute walk and it had a large beach with floats , banana boat etc. There was some very lovely restaurants and bars which all came to life at night.

We will defiantly be returning!!😄

Great apartment on a lovely complex.

This is our 3rd visit to this complex, but our first stay in this apartment. The apartment is in a great location on the complex, just overlooking the gardens and the main swimming pool area. The apartment itself is nice and spacious and very nicely furnished with all the mod cons and a big flat screen TV which the kids enjoyed. The apartment was very clean and the welcome pack when we arrived was a great help (water, milk, bread etc.). The complex this apartment is located on are great and in our opinion, one of the best in the area. The 3 complex swimming pools are great and the gardens are very large and if you have children, they will love exploring them and you will like the security of the complex knowing your children are safe.

Duquesa Marina is about a 10 min stroll away and is a lovely place to walk around at night and you can dine at any one of the many restaurants to be found there.

This is a great apartment and we would recommend it.
