A fabulous 2 bedroom 2 bathroom south facing apartment, beautifully furnished to a very high standard. Fully air conditioned with heating if required for the cooler months. Nothing has been spared to make your Holiday as relaxing as possible, walking through the comfy lounge & onto the large 30 sq mtr terrace where you can look over the water features and pool areas within the 15,000 sq meters of landscaped gardens out towards the sea. A short stroll takes you to the pretty marina at Duquesa with its many bars and restaurants, or sit back with a drink on the terrace or have a barbecue in the gardens.


A little relaxation in style: As i am sure you can see from the photographs this is a lovely apartment from which to either chill-out or to use as a base to tour.If you play golf , the Trent-Jones designed golf course at La Duquesa is on your doorstep with up to another 30 courses within an hours drive

Lovely comfy apartment.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely apartment. It was very bright and roomy and the beds were so comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed. Patio doors from the lounge and main bedroom open onto a large balcony with lovely views of the garden and partial sea views. Two nice pools in a lovely setting. There are plenty of bars and restaurants at the harbour but we went in the car because it was a bit of a drag to walk back up the hill. There are bars in the square nearby. We would love to visit again sometime and would definitely recommend. Easy to visit places like Gibraltar and Ronda, and only 10 minutes away from Estapone which has a lovely old town and large sandy beach.

Very big apartment with all mod cons. Fantastic views

Gated complex with easy access to apartment. Free parking on site. 3 swimming pools all with shade and loungers. Fantastic gardens and views of sea from apartment. Large apartment 2 large bedrooms. One with ensuite. Very clean. Sofa bed in lounge. Laundry room with washing machine. Iron and board. Large balcony.

We had a great holiday. On the way down (its on a large hill) there are lovely views of the sea and the surrounding villas /houses are lovely. There's a square with a few bars and restaurants. Plus one that sells bread and milk as well as other stuff. The hill is quite steep in one part. Not too good if you have problems walking. Dequesa port was very nice. Lots of bars and places to eat. We didn't go on the beach. It is a shingle beach with a drop into the edge of the sea. We walked to the next town which was a nice walk. But not much there.

The pool area is lovely and we spent a long time there. There's no inflatables allowed and the lifeguard is very strict. 2m depth in large part of the main pool (we didn't sit round any others). Kids loved to Dive. Always space to sit around pool. Maybe not always a sunbed though. But the grass is soft enough. The apartment had a large kitchen and hatch through to lounge. Big table and chairs. Large sofa bed. Games and books in the sideboard.

Maybe needed more pillows to be available and sheets could do with updating as well as perhaps waterproof mattress protectors would be good.

Overall we found this accommodation to be ample to our needs and very comfortable. Great location (even with the hill- once we had got used to it- there was always cabs at the port)

Communication was good with owners and a helpful folder of instructions/information in property was great.

Excellent apartment

Nice and roomy with a good sized kitchen and utility room. A couple of areas need attention: kitchen tap leaked when turned on, difficult to open patio door from outside along with no shutter on lounge windows and light out on patio. Otherwise a very pleasant stay. Enjoyed the large patio with great views of the sea. Nice and quiet with beautiful well kept gardens. Enjoyed the nearby golf club which we found out had a good gym attached to it.

The property is in a quiet block of apartments with 2 lovely pools. Car parking is no problem and the apartment is clean and well furnished with a lovely balcony to sit out on. Found a folder full with local tourist information which was really very useful. Couple of small supermarkets locally; the best one is Mercadona. Beaches locally are lovely but we aware of the jelly fish (white flag on the beach is in area). Easy to walk down into the port area but the better priced restaurants are down the coast another 10 mins walk in Sabinillas. Had 2 trips to Gibraltar which is only 30 minutes away and parked in La Linea to save the queues driving over the boarder. Also visited Tarifa which had lovely seas and beaches although very windy! Thank you!

Excellent location and views

Th apartment is very good there was only 2 of us so plenty of room. The views are brilliant and a short walk you are right at the port. the walk back can be a bit of a struggle in the heat. Kelly's in the square was a welcome stop off point. I would recommend anyone to stay there.

Duquesa Suites Golf & gardens is in an enviable position surrounded by some of the best golf courses on the Costa del Sol yet just a short stroll to the quiet blue flag beach of La Duquesa. You can choose to have a total relaxing holiday or tour some of the prettiest villages on the costas [ Mihas or Ronda to name but two ] For the best nightlife Mabella is just 25 minutes away or go the same distance the other way and you are in Gibraltar with its duty free shopping
