Quaint spot. Cozy, beautiful lake and bon fire is nice
It’s a nice space for a get together. Has old time charm. The shower was having a hard time draining. That was the one downside, but great stay!

Being honest
Norm and Sue were very good about helping us find their rental. The listing had the wrong address, but Sue had called to find out our arrival time and she gave correct address. However, GPS wasn't able to find it. We had wonderful view of river and cottage was spacious. But, the place needs a good cleaning. Especially bathroom/shower and cobwebs/dust throughout. If clean, we'd make it a repeat location.

About the host

Host profile image
My wife and I are originally from Ladysmith, WI, which is about 30 miles north on highway 27. My father bought the cottage shortly after we got married. We lived in it for about 3 years before we built our own home next door. When my parents passed away, we inherited the property. We rented it on an annual basis until the last renter nearly destroyed it. I decided we would try the 'rent by the week' idea and see how it went. We are still fairly new at this and consider all suggestions to improve the cottage.

Why they chose this property

The location is beautiful and relaxing.

What makes this property unique

The view from the dining room and living room windows is beautiful and so peaceful.
