2 bedroom, semi-detached villa on a quiet complex in Perivolia village near Larnaca. Ideal for family holidays with a large communal pool with sun loungers right outside the back patio doors. Great for walking holidays, beach or poolside relaxation, cycling holidays and winter sun. With just a five minute walk into the village for shops and restaurants it is a perfect location, a home away from home in the sun!

- Bicycles can be hired locally at very reasonable rates.

Further details – The road around the complex, running outside the front of the villa is not finished – hence the low rental price. The road has not had the tarmac put down yet, however you can still drive on it.

I hope you get the opportunity to visit my lovely house in Perivolia, Cyprus. I bought it over 10 years ago and it still remains my favourite place to visit and relax for a few days in the sun. It is my home and I like my guests to feel as if it their home away from home.

Modern, stylish, clean and genuine homely villa

I cannot speak highly enough about this property.

Inside there is every appliance you would have at home making your stay so enjoyable.

Sarah helps by putting a few essentials in the fridge like milk, bread, ham & cheese.

She also provided croissants for breakfast the following morning.

The instructions received before the holiday were so useful, clear and easy to follow.

Our plane was delayed for 8 hours, we sat on that plane from and 2.30pm until 3.30 the following morning. We were exhausted so arriving a such a cosy home was a Godsend.

The property is perfectly located: 20 minutes walk to the end of the Island and Faros beach - 10 minutes walk to MAS supermarket.

The front of the property is south facing and there is a lovely terrace patio at the front to allow you to take advantage of all day sunshine.

The views from the master bedroom are spectacular as the overlook the fields and the Mediterranean Ocean in the distance. I used that upstairs patio every morning to take in the views.

Wardrobe space for both bedrooms is very generous, exactly what I am used to at home. And to my delight there are full length mirrors in each bedroom.

Perfect for my morning workouts and daily wardrobe checks.

It also helped me to decide which costume/bikini to chose.

Do remember to bring some CDs and DVDsas there are players available. I forgot as all my music is on the iPhone/ iPad.

It also saves time and space downloading movies.

The only minor complaint would be the unfinished roads. When it rains, access to the property can be tricky and we really struggled to avoid sinking into muddy paths.

I've stayed in villas before where the cutlery, crockery, pots and pans were scarce.

Here Sarah ensures that you had a more than adequate supply.

My holiday was wonderful and I would definitely stay here again.

Every morning I went on my own for a 3 mile walk. Sometimes towards the coast sometimes into town. I never got lost or felt unsafe; just remember to keep the Ocean to one side and you will always know where you are.

There are lots of landmarks to see also within walking distance, beautiful churches plus the lighthouse.

I survived without a car, the weather is beautiful, the scenery delightful why not savour as much as you are able to.

A slight disappointment

Upon arrival the key box code was wrong, HOMEAWAY description clearly stated different code to what I received from property owners text 1hour after arriving at the property (owner was on holiday), as I booked & paid through HOMEAWAY thats the info I went by.

Once entering the property we did a quick check round just to make sure all was ok & nothing broken by the last tenants:

1. Toilet seat lid broken.

2. One of the downstairs A/C blowing warm air.

3. Water cooler had nasty odor & unhygienic tank.

4. Fridge shelf had dried spillage of some kind & splashes on the inside of door.

5. Spider webs in certain corners of the room.

6. Kettle was scaled too bad to attempt to make a cuppa.

During our stay:

1. Swimming pool beds were fit for the bin (2 wooden beds were in property) but too heavy to carry to pool so couldn't lounge around the pool at all which was a big disappointment.

2. Swimming pool was chemically cleaned once in 3 weeks

3. Downstairs A/C started to chill but this was intermittent.

4. Internet kept failing & was given a phone number which we called several times for technical help.

PS:

The owner did act swiftly arranging for a new toilet seat to be fitted, calling in the cleaner, & calling an A/C engineer but by then we cleaned the fridge ourselves.

The A/C engineer had yet to arrive up until the day we left.

The above mentioned are not to the extreme, the property it self is nice but could do with a touch of TLC around the outside, it was upsetting we couldn't sit/lie around the pool in the 3 week period we were there.

A perfect place for a laid-back Cyprus vacation. Great value for fully-equipped comfort.

The amenities are exactly as advertised, situated on the edge of a funky little village featuring several restaurants and tavernas. The location is very convenient to Larnaca airport but there is no excessive aircraft noise, and the road connections to all areas of the island are good. There are good supermarkets and banks available in the next village (Kiti) which is a 10 minute drive. Sara is a very helpful owner, and she has a property manager close by in case of problems. The property is a couple of kilometers from the beach but has a pool that is open during the warm months. The only drawback to the place is that the surrounding access streets have not yet been paved, but the value in price and the villa itself more than make up for it. We highly recommend Sara's Villa for a relaxing Cyprus vacation.

A fantastic quiet house to stay in

The photos don't do the house justice. We had a fantastic 5 days here. The only thing to bear in mind is how quiet it is at May half term, which our 13 year old daughter didn't really value, but my husband and I did.

The Larnaca region

Larnaca is one of the oldest cities with history but yet has a modern side to it. The seafront of Larnaca with its line of mature palm trees (“Phinikoudes”) is a relaxing leisurely attraction. Near the seafront there are countless choices of pubs, bars, restaurants and clubs. Also the home of one of the island’s international airports.

Perivolia

The village name is Greek for garden or orchard and the village attracts many tourists looking for a flavour of local village life. The village has a beautiful centre which traffic is blocked off in the evenings during the summer months allowing for outdoor restaurant seating and dancing.

There are 5 or 6 restaurants in the village itself, all serving English and Cypriot cuisine, an English pub and an Indian restaurant. There are karaoke, belly dancing, bazouki nights, quizs weekly. All 5-10 mins walk away from Sarah’s Villa. In nearby villages such as Kiti and Meneou there are other restaurants and tavernas, offering plenty of choice to eat out. Kiti and Meneou also offer shops and bakeries. The nearby town of Larnaca is only 15 min drive or hop on the local bus. 10-15 mins from Larnaca airport. Some aircraft noise can be heard.

Perivolia beach (pebbly) is a 10 min walk, and the nearby Faros beach (sandy) and hotel a 10 minute drive. Local attractions include the camel park at Mazatos and salt lakes at Larnaca.
