About danila corinti
Hi, I'm Danila, as a person I’m dynamic (sometimes even too much), I love children, animals, gardening (if you decide to book your vacations with us you’ll see!), I love traveling and I love this job! I like to meet people, to talk to them, and sometimes, why not, keep in touch! It is truly fulfilling when, after spending a vacation in one of our places, people get back to me and let me know that they have had a good time! I can not always meet my guests in person (I divide my time between Rome and Tuscany, where we have a farm), but I personally answer to their questions, take care of their request and organize their sojourn. I’m glad when people decide to spend their vacation in our beautiful country, that I love so much, and I try to help them making the best of it!
danila corinti purchased this Apartment in 1911
Why danila corinti chose Quartiere XII Gianicolense
This villa has belonged to our family for generations. This is an area of Rome that is still inhabited by Romans. A beautiful residential area, quiet and 'true'. The people know each other, and greet each other in the street and still find time to exchange a few words. In 2016 we completely renovated the villa and we have obtained this independent apartment where our guests can enjoy a holiday in an oasis of calm and quiet, a few steps away from the animation and folklore of Trastevere.
What makes this Apartment unique
We love the small street where the apartment is located, the number of gardens that follow one another, the birds singing in the morning (that too ... not exactly graceful, crows and gulls). The apartment is surrounded by greenery, it is quiet, easy also something more: It will allow you to stay in a real Roman home. The wooden window frames painted of white, the floors in large planks of oak, the curtains, the exterior covered in brick and slate. It will be for a while '"your home" and you will see that it will have a part in your memories when you'll look back to your " Roman holidays. "
It is possible to smoke just in the garden

The place looks exactly like the pictures. We very much enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay there again.
Very nice people, polite, gracious.
It 'it has been a pleasure to have them as our guests, I hope they will come back and visit us
This apartment promised a lot of potential but was let down by mosquitos breeding in open drains directly outside the door and only window of the place. There were no screens on either the door or window, making it impossible to get any fresh air into the place. When the mosquito problem was raised with the host, we suggested free aircon (which we didn't get) together with repellent (which we did get). Rome's hot weather made this flat hot and stuffy and thus uncomfortable to live in. We couldn't even enjoy the garden outside without being eaten alive (the repellent was ineffective)! Apart from this, the apartment was a good size. The kitchen facilities were very basic-the hot plates were rusty (but still worked), the bread knife was broken and only basic cutlery/crockery was supplied. No condiments at all (not even salt). The hot water was barely tepid to start with but after contacting the owner this improved. We were looking forward to our stay here but felt badly let down as the mozzie problem could be easily improved upon by installing screens for the door and window and covering the drains.
clean and very comfortable, we had a good time
Nice place, clean, furnished with care and a personal touch. We particularly appreciated the garden, a peaceful place to relax and dine. The area is green and peaceful, but close to the center and well connected. All and all, a very pleasant place to stay, we would come back for sure.
Our apartment is beautiful and well cared. But his best quality is undoubtedly the place where it is located. A quiet street iclose to the historical center of Rome. We are happy that our guests have appreciated it.Thank you
We arrived on Monday 18th May 2015 to find that we were in the middle of a building site. There is extensive building works going on surrounding the whole house. I think we should been advise of this in advance and offered a reduction in price. We raised our concerns on day 2 and 4 of our holiday but still the builders started drilling at 8:00am. The most dissapointing aspect was that my concerns were not answered by the owner. The builders manage to cause the hot water to be switched off one day that was fixed later in the day via the owner. The location is very good. We found it a bit dark inside the property as there is only one window and one glass door for natural light. Also, the kitchen equipment could of a higher standard. The garden has potential but not while it is a building site. Final point, the one window has a vent in it that is broken and cannot be shut allowing insects to come and go as they please.
A romantic escape
The place was cozy quiet and very romantic, we were very lazy and slept and stood indoor until very late in the morning without being disturbed. Even though it was winter, it was warm enough to have breakfast in the lovely garden end enjoy some sunshine. I’d suggest it to a couple looking for a romantic escape.
"The place was really nic...
"The place was really nice. The apartment really clean and cozy, with an ancient stone fireplace, lovely furniture, even some antique piece. We had use of the lovely garden and had breakfast outside cause, although it was November, in the morning was very warm and sunny. We also loved the area, the apartment was situated in a tiny quiet street of small houses with garden, very characteristic we found, and was a nice refuge at the end of a frantic day."
This beautiful, silent apartemnt is situated in Trastevere-Monteverde district at the basement (but sunny and full of light) of a Liberty villa with garden. Built at the bottom of the Janiculum hill, the Tratevere-Monteverde district is in close proximity to the historic hearth of the city, but at the same time offers the quiet and comfort of a residential area.
During your holiday you can use the light-metro N8: the city surface subway. It is a fast and direct connection to the city's center (8 stops away from Largo Argentina or Piazza Venezia, the heart of the historic centre). The apartment is at a 5 minutes walking from Trastevere train station, which is in direct connection with the Fiumicino Airport, Termini central train station and St.Peter.
And finally, when and "IF" you'll be tired of museums, ruins and churches, you can take refuge in a bright and quiet, recently renovated and carefully maintained apartment. Located in a particular area of Rome, much loved by its inhabitants, who have a strong sense of belonging and feel "Monteverdinos" as well as Roman.
The area is also well equipped with shops, supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies, banks, even the hospital (s. Camillo) is very close, and is very well served by public transport: to reach the historic center of the city or St. Peter, or the airport of Fiumicino is very quick, easy and no-stress (a rarity in Rome):
-For A walk to Trastevere in the evening, and eat at some local restaurant, you should still use the number 8 and get off at Piazza Sonnino (10 minutes).
- To go to St. Peter you can take the city train at the Trastevere-station (2 stops, travel time 5-6 minutes).
- To o to Fiumicino airport there is the train, it arrives in 21 minutes (less than taking a taxi).
Having a walk around, you will discover that you are in one of the finest residential districts of the city: there are so many things to do and see in this area!
We suggest a walk to the top of the Janiculum hill (from Piazza Garibaldi you can enjoy a spectacular and romantic view of the city). Also worth visiting: il Fontanone (Gianicolo's fountain, the one that is in the first scene of the film: "La grande bellezza"); the church of S.Pietro in Montorio, by the architect Bramante (the church is built on the spot where, according to the legend, St. Peter was crucified); the Basilica of S.Pancrazio and the catacombs built underneath it; Villa Doria-Pamphili and Villa Sciarra and their surrounding parks. At night the adjoining and lively quarter of Trastevere offers a wide choice of pubs, wine bars and restaurants.
What's more! Enjoy your holiday!
