Situated at the northern tip of Idaho, Sandpoint is no ordinary vacation destination. It's located on the magnificent Lake Pend Oreille, surrounded by the Selkirk and Cabinet Mountains, with skiing at Schweitzer Mountain just minutes away. The town itself is exceptional, as home to a thriving arts community, the historic Panida Theater, and a plethora of excellent restaurants and unusual shopping.

Comfortably accommodates groups or families up to 14 on three levels with a gourmet kitchen and kitchenetteand space to play both inside and outside. Boat slip rental available upon request.
The townhouse was well done and kitchen had everything one would need. We only had one hiccup. The description of what beds where in what rooms was different that what was actually there, but we were able to adjust and everyone was very comfortable. Downtown was an easy walk from the place and we rented a jet ski and pontoon boat which were also easy to walk to. I would recommend this to others.
This is a lovely 3 level town home in the upscale Seasons Resort directly on beautiful Pend d'Oreille Lake. We recently had a family reunion at Seasons, renting this unit and two other condos. Local management was very friendly and helpful, and the facilities were first class and well maintained. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The only reason I did not give this rental 5 stars is that the sleeping arrangements on the ground floor were less than ideal. The unit is rated for 14 people, and it does have beds for 14. The third floor bedrooms are a king with ensuite bathroom, a queen with ensuite bathroom, and a two twin bed room with its own bathroom. Excellent accommodations for 6 people. There is a powder room on the main floor where the living, dining and kitchen are. The other 8 people are allocated two bedrooms on the ground floor, one with 2 sets of bunk beds and one with 2 queen beds. Unfortunately, you have to walk through the queen room to access the bunk room, and these 8 people have to share one large bathroom, which is also accessed by walking through the queen room. There is a powder room which serves the den area. So no real privacy, and we were constantly waking each other up since our bedtimes and wake up times differed. We coped with this arrangement by putting 6 members of our own family, 3 generations, downstairs. The "extra" 2 people slept upstairs in sleeping bags on the floor in their parents' room. In spite of this, I do recommend this property to others. You just need to understand what you are getting when you book, and make sure that the layout will work for the members of your large group.
Some people wonder if there is a lot of noise from the train, which runs behind the resort. These buildings are designed and constructed in such a way that we rarely heard the trains, even out on the balconies and patio. The end units are more likely to have train noise outside, but even those are well insulated so you don't hear much inside. The kids in our group loved seeing the trains, and they never bothered us at all.
There is a lot to do on the lake, in Sandpoint, and in the general area. It was a perfect location for a family reunion. Some rented boats, some took road trips, a large group had a Silverwood day which was really fun (they have groups rates for 15 or more), and several of us enjoyed the lake cruise. All in all, it was a great week at Seasons Resort. Thank you!
Silverwood Theme Park is 30 minutes away. Mountain bike at Schweitzer Mountain during the summer. Two golf courses nearby. Three great ski resorts with in 90 minutes and many shops and dining areas.
