About the property

Secluded 5 Bedroom Lodge Located Minutes from Town

Open the doors to your own rustic retreat nestled in the hills and surrounded by trees and open pasture. Overlook the Strait of Juan de Fuca and see what it really means to be where the mountains meet the sea.

At Call of the Wild Lodge, you can experience the warmth of the Summer, the green pastures of the Spring, the orange leaves in the Fall, and the thick white snow in the Winter. Trails located just moments down the country road, encouraging hikers, bikers, and soon, our equestrian friends! See why people rave about mountain air- you will soon find it addicting!

This 4,500+ sq. ft. Canadian Spruce home is warm and inviting to large groups and families. The Coca-Cola themed kitchen is decorated by a collection of Coca-Cola antiques found over the years, items that can only be seen here! There will be no problem making conversation at the dinner table with the endless conversation starters scattered across the top of the cabinets.

You will feel like royalty, the lodge contains 5 bedrooms with only queen and king sized beds with privacy and a luxurious master bedroom and bath. Enter the master bedroom through rustic double doors into a suite with a red leather couch, you can only see in the movies, and a willow headboard against a king sized bed. The pasture view from the bedroom will amaze you, and will surely leave you feeling like a king or queen!

Our lodge also includes a sleeping loft complete with two pull out couches or “sleeper sofas” with a double bed as well. Perfect for kids or any additional guests or family members. Take a stroll down to our spacious rec room with a bar and large cowboy mural that will surly take your breath away. Feel like a real equestrian while sitting on our barstools topped with different types of saddles, pick what type of riding you like best!

In our spacious downstairs bedrooms, we have one room with two queen sized beds and another with a king bed. The rooms have beautiful murals on the wall that will make your jaw drop.

Our bedrooms are all so different and make your sleeping choice a difficult pick since the unique feel of each room is hard to pass up. We have rooms with views, sliding doors, private balconies, and much more! The room choice is up to you, but we know you will be satisfied with any selection!

Feel like a warm night under the stars? Take a dip in our large hot tub and relax. Take a seat and overlook the lights of town, the lighthouse, and the lit up cargo ships. The feeling is like nothing you have ever experienced, so grab a glass of our complimentary wine and hop in!

Our garage is set up with Foosball, ping-pong, and more for fun for the whole family! We also supply bikes in the garage, so feel free to test ride the trails!

No matter where you look, the lodge décor or the jaw dropping view will catch your eyes. Whether you choose to go sledding in the powdered snow, or take a short drive to town to explore the lavender farms Sequim is known for, you will never be bored on vacation.

We offer weddings, family reunions, along with private spa and massage parties where you can feel the real definition of relaxation in our quiet, tucked away setting.

So come on in, take a seat, and enjoy...

Moms & Kids Spring Break

  • 5 of 5

We loved this space -- and as a group with 6 moms and 12 kids ... well, that's pretty high praise. So much for the kids to do, great communication with the property manager, clean and fully equipped kitchen with a ton of room to move. Definitely a place we'd stay again.

The best house for a large group!!!!!!!!

  • 5 of 5

I rented this house for my 30th birthday celebration this past weekend and it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! We had 14-20 people as well as 5 dogs throughout the weekend and there was still so much room! If you have a large group - this is by far the best place to go! Not only was it super cheap, but the home is outstanding. It's 3 floors and very spread out, so you never feel like you're on top of each other. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were beautiful, and the decorative touches to this lodge make it perfect. It's such a beautiful outdoor setting.

The best part about the home was by far the owner, Martha. She always got back to me within 24 hours of me emailing her. She was super flexible and sweet - especially because people didn't come at the last minute and she was even accommodating for letting me change the number of people/dogs up until the day of. I've never had a home owner through VRBO who is so helpful, kind, and willing to work with you. It wasn't easy finding a place to bring dogs and it didn't cost a fortune. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE and I'm seriously coming back again!

There was so much to do. Hang in the house, play games in the garage, hottub, play with the dogs in the HUGE front yard, BBQ, basketball, and some friends even brought their dirt bikes and had a blast on the surrounding trails.

Fabulous Mountain Lodge In Sequim

  • 5 of 5

For our annual "Girls Weekend" none of us are brave enough to go over the mountain passes these days so we decided to rent the Beach House we stayed at 2 years ago and sadly found it was already booked. We went with this BEAUTIFUL HUGE Log Lodge instead and with our luck it snowed several inches. We all had a great time and Thank You very much.

Best rental experience we've ever had

  • 5 of 5

Every aspect of this VRBO weekend exceeded our expectations - from the moment we drove in, to the moment we left. We came with a group of 10 friends for a retreat weekend, and we'll be back next year, hopefully for longer. The house is kept up beautifully, spotlessly clean, with a lovely attention to detail that made us not want to leave. It's also a 20 minute drive to the Dungeness Spit, a 10 mile round trip beach walk, which made for an even better hot tub session that night. And a surprise bonus were the foosball, pingpong, and air hockey tables in the garage. Plenty of linens and towels provided, and well stocked kitchen. Thank you so much, Susan & Martha!

We had an amazing stay here, keeping warm and cozy despite winter weather outside. It was thoroughly and thoughtfully furnished to make for a memorable visit to Sequim.

Port Orchard, Wa

A true mountain lodge

  • 5 of 5

The lodge was very beautifully decorated for the holidays including a Christmas tree. It was warm and inviting when we arrived. Everything was clean and nicely styled. I brought my staff up for a work/holiday retreat and they all enjoyed the lodge. From the hot tub to ping pong and the fire pit, there was fun for all. I will hopefully have the opportunity to visit again.
