About the property

3 Bedroom cottage, 2 Bathrooms, Sleeps 8

Our house (519 Bank St.) is wonderfully located 2 blocks from Washington Commons and 5 blocks from the beach overlooking the Atlantic. We are in a quiet neighborhood. The house is clean and well maintained, perfectly suited for your family vacation.

The Master suite (queen bed) in back of the house has it's own full bath and entrance. The door leads out to a morning sun deck. The deck also leads directly to the kitchen so you can enjoy that cup of coffee as the kids sleep. The deck looks out over a large grassy backyard with a huge shade tree, great for an afternoon nap.

The middle room has a set of bunk beds and a trundle bed that is fantastic for siblings or their friends. Cable TV and WIFI in all 3 bedrooms.

The front bedroom is another queen bed that has charm and easy access to main bath and fully equipped kitchen. House has central A/C. There is a private driveway can fit 2 cars.

You will love the easy access to town/beach with all it's great restaurants and Victorian houses. Pets are considered as long as they are well behaved. There is a pet fee of $50 each at time of booking.

About Owner/Property Manager

Family owned since 1970.

Owner/Property Manager purchased this cottage in 1979

Why Owner/Property Manager chose Historic District

This was a Coast Guard cottage that was moved when the base changed over. Additional bedroom was finished in the 90's. We love the great location to Historic Cape May.

What makes this cottage unique

The beaches are the best! We vacation in our house every year. Our kids love the place and the town. And the food....amazing

Lovely cottage in great location.

Lovely cottage in great location. Loved the deck and backyard which was terrific for my miniature schnauzer. Furniture very comfortable. Did not give 5 stars because you have to walk through the middle bedroom to get to the back bedroom.

Perfect Location, Great House

  • 5 of 5

It was perfect for us and our two pooches. Very close to the town and mall, but still off the beaten path so it was quiet and relaxing. A little bit further from the beach, but well within walking distance. The house was great and very clean and just what you'd expect for a nice little shore house. The owners were very easy to get in touch with and made sure that everything was perfect. Thanks!

Lovely Cottage and Location

  • 5 of 5

Even when the weather doesn't cooperate, this cottage is perfect for a weekend but probably even better for an extended stay. We only had 2 nights, but I wish we could have stayed longer. It is in a perfect location - just a couple blocks from anything you could possibly want. I have nothing negative to say! Highly, highly recommend!

Our family had a wonderful stay in this cottage. Location is perfect, in a quiet street very close to downtown and the beach. The backyard was very enjoyable for the kids. The property is well maintained overall.

Wonderful Home at the Shore

  • 5 of 5

Stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time. The home was clean and ready for us to unpack and enjoy our stay. The backyard was great for our two little dogs since it is all fenced in.

Proximity to Washington Square is only 2 blocks where there is a lot of shopping opportunities and great restaurants. The walk to the beach .. approximately an additional 3 blocks, was no hardship. We used our wagon to transport our beach gear.

There is a place to rent bicycles, which we did for the week. Bicycling around Cape May in the mornings and evenings is great.

We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for a delightful week.

Nice place

  • 5 of 5

Our first time in Cape May and we lucked out. The house was nice and clean and very close to the shops. We did not walk to the beach as we had too much stuff to carry that far. I guess if you are ambitious you can walk. The house had more extras than others we have rented like spices, your first roll of toilet paper, dish towels etc. A nice perk! Our dog LOVED the back yard and just hanging out. The 15 year old boys loved parasailing and being able to walk to the stores alone. A very nice trip!
