The beautiful charming property, La Calade des Viaux, is set in the centre of the Luberon Natural Park, across from Colorado Provençal, Rustrel. Throughout the year we offer our holiday homes for seasonal rental. They are great for discovering Provence; a space specially designed for holidays spent with family or with friends.
The property is a former sheepfold. Nestled at the heart of a hamlet in Luberon, you can find charming, completely restored and fitted holiday homes made out of stone with around 110-120 sq.m-living area. They offer all comforts you could require. The property boasts four houses, each for 6-7 people, with one or two private terraces depending on the house. One, Le Hangar, features a private garden. Each house has its own particular design and atmosphere with three bedrooms and a bathroom. They are fully and tastefully restored in-line with traditional Luberon stone houses. You are sure to find one that suits you down to the ground.
The price shown is for one house sleeping six to seven guests. We offer a digressive price depending on duration of stay, aside from in August. We can comfortably accommodate 25 guests and four babies or 28 guest with additional beds.
Luberon is dotted with beautiful landscapes in bright, vivid colours. One example are the Ocres (ochre rocks) in Rustrel and Roussillon.
You can also set off on hikes in Colorado Provençal to discover the amazing settings that look like Colorado in the U.S. and explore Provence strolling down its walking paths.
Take out rental bikes in the nearby and cross the Ocres (ochre rocks) on a 51-km trail going through the small villages.
Get a different flavour of Provence on a quad bike tour.
If you are a thrill-seeker you can also go skydiving.
Close to the houses, there are trails for horseback riding.
A trip up in a hot air balloon is a different way to experience Luberon.
Not far from the hamlet are a 9-hole and an 18-hole golf course.
You can also discover the local markets in the surroundings and sample local, outstanding products, such as cheese, fruit jams, and truffles.
The local restaurants are another great way to savour Provencal flavours.
Tucked away in the welcoming village of Rustrel, you can find a wood-fire bakery where you can try sourdough made according to a traditional countryside recipe.
