This spacious apartment is on the secure Las Mimosas complex adjacent to Cabopino Golf course and driving range, but only 5-10 minutes walk to the super marina and beaches of Puerto Cabopino. Located on the first floor, the apartment is furnished to a high standard with the large lounge having seating for five, CD player and satellite TV (BBC & ITV channels + some Sky channels). Patio doors lead out to the good sized south facing terrace. The dining area has seating for six. The two, well proportioned bedrooms have large built-in wardrobes and full en-suite marble bathrooms. The master bedroom has patio doors on to the terrace with the second bedroom having uninterrupted views of Cabopino golf course. The fully equipped kitchen also has a utility room with washing machine and drying area. For added all year round comfort the apartment comes with air-conditioning/heating. Outside in the beautifully kept gardens is a large swimming pool and a smaller children’s pool. There is also secure underground parking

Dining out: The choice is superb, from Spanish to Italian, fom Indian to Chinese they are all within easy walking distance. The marina also has a couple of splendid fish restaurants. If you just want a quick meal there is a pizza takeaway close to the apartment. If you want to travel further afield Marbella is always worth a visit particularly around Los Naranjos square with its many sidewalk cafe's.

The beach: Cabopino beach has well maintained clean sand superior to most of the other beach's along this coast. There are life guards on duty during the summer months and plenty of activities to keep the more lively ones occupied. Just along form Cabopino beach but out of view is a nudist beach for those who like to go au naturelle.

Golf information: The Costa del Sol is a golfers dream with the choice available. The Cabopino golf course next to the apartment, which winds around with tremendous views (a buggy is a good idea), is a good start but you will be spoilt for choice from then on. If you want to know the courses closest to Cabopino request it in your enquiry.

Notes:
The apartment is tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard. Electric shutters for extra security on the lounge and main bedroom patio doors. On the terrace there are 2 sunloungers and dining table and chairs. As well as the air-conditioning and heating the main lounge lights house an electric fan. The whole complex is gated with lovely gardens and a large swimming pool and kiddies pool. There are 2 poolside sun loungers with extra loungers in the apartment for your use. Close by are shops, bars and assorted continental cuisine restaurants to make your stay a memorable one.

Superb holiday in a fantastic apartment

We have just returned from a two week holiday in this apartment and cannot recommend it highly enough. The apartment was immaculately clean, light and airy, extremely spacious and furnished to a high standard. The owners have put much thought into the furnishings and additional little touches to make the apartment comfortable and a real home from home. The pool was great (we had it to ourselves most of the time) and the other holiday makers/staff/residents of the apartment complex that we met were nice friendly people. The grounds and communal areas are very well kept indeed.

The location is ideal to be away from it all but with a lovely beach and other amenities close too hand. As other reviewers have stated there are many bars and restaurants at the marina close by. We would recommend in particular the chinese restaurant at the marina who offer a fantastic quality afternoon three course meal for only 7.50 euros. The food and service at CaboPizza which is a few minutes walk from the apartment was excellent.

We personally felt that a car was not necessary. There are bus stops within walking distance which cover the Marbella to Fuengirola routes from Cabopino for around 2 euros. If you take the bus from Fuengirola however be sure to buy your ticket at the kiosk at the bus station as the bus driver will not allow you to pay on the bus! We would add that if you are reasonably fit the larger supermarkets and banks at Calahonda are walkable (around 15/20 minutes).

The owners provided excellent customer service. We felt that nothing was too much trouble for them. We travelled with our 6 month old baby (who loved his first holiday) and the owners arranged an airport collection and travel cot for us. Communication from the owners was fast, detailed and helpful.

If you are looking for a lovely getaway to enable you to relax and unwind this apartment and its location will not fail to please!

Lovely beach and great walks

Great apartment within easy walking distance of beach, port, bus stop and shopping.

It's very easy to explore the surrounding area and all in all we had a very enjoyable holiday.

Very entertaining bunch of expats in the sports bar and if you enjoy unpretentious pub grub the food is worth a try.

One very slight niggle is the instructions for getting from the bus stop to the apartment when you first arrive. The expression top of the hill is open to interpretation and as there are a number of apartment blocks it is very easy to choose the wrong one.

Absolutely excellent & beautiful.

The apartment was in a beautiful location and was spotlessly clean. The facilities provided were superb. No one could have asked for more for four adults. The grounds were very well maintened, pool splendid and security first rate.

Comfortable and great location

Stayed at the Cabopino apartment for a week in February and found it to be in a great location near shops and lovely restaurants, and not far from Marbella and other main tourist attractions.

The apartment itself was very comfortable with a home from home feel, well equiped spotlessly clean situated in a very pleasant secure gated complex with underground parking. I have no hesitation in giving it 5 stars it really would be hard to beat and would very much like to return again perhaps next year.

the apartment was 1st class and had everything that we required

we found the apartment easily with the directions from the owner Steve who also told us all we needed to know about the apartment, it was very clean and every thing was in good order, we did not use the electrical apliancies because we were two lads out to play golf and not to do much self catering, it was in a good position for we needed, I would certainly stay in this apartment again if it was available when we required it.

Cabopino is in a great position between the bustling towns of Fuengirola and Marbella. It has a lovely marina with an abundance of bars and restaurants. Adjacent to the marina is the superb Andy's beach with its array of bars and bistros. For the golfer there are about 30 top courses within easy driving distance.
