2 Large bedrooms, 2 Full bathrooms - sleeps a maximum of 4 people

This spacious apartment is on the secure Las Mimosas complex adjacent to Cabopino Golf course and driving range, but only 5-10 minutes walk to the super marina and beaches of Puerto Cabopino. Located on the first floor, the apartment is furnished to a high standard with the large lounge having seating for five, CD player and satellite TV (BBC & ITV channels + some Sky channels). Patio doors lead out to the good sized south facing terrace. The dining area has seating for six. The two, well proportioned bedrooms have large built-in wardrobes and full en-suite marble bathrooms. The master bedroom has patio doors on to the terrace with the second bedroom having uninterrupted views of Cabopino golf course. The fully equipped kitchen also has a utility room with washing machine and drying area. For added all year round comfort the apartment comes with air-conditioning/heating. Outside in the beautifully kept gardens is a large swimming pool and a smaller children’s pool. There is also secure underground parking

Dining out: The choice is superb, from Spanish to Italian, fom Indian to Chinese they are all within easy walking distance. The marina also has a couple of splendid fish restaurants. If you just want a quick meal there is a pizza takeaway close to the apartment. If you want to travel further afield Marbella is always worth a visit particularly around Los Naranjos square with its many sidewalk cafe's.

The beach: Cabopino beach has well maintained clean sand superior to most of the other beach's along this coast. There are life guards on duty during the summer months and plenty of activities to keep the more lively ones occupied. Just along form Cabopino beach but out of view is a nudist beach for those who like to go au naturelle.

Golf information: The Costa del Sol is a golfers dream with the choice available. The Cabopino golf course next to the apartment, which winds around with tremendous views (a buggy is a good idea), is a good start but you will be spoilt for choice from then on. If you want to know the courses closest to Cabopino request it in your enquiry.

Superb holiday in a fantastic apartment

We have just returned from a two week holiday in this apartment and cannot recommend it highly enough. The apartment was immaculately clean, light and airy, extremely spacious and furnished to a high standard. The owners have put much thought into the furnishings and additional little touches to make the apartment comfortable and a real home from home. The pool was great (we had it to ourselves most of the time) and the other holiday makers/staff/residents of the apartment complex that we met were nice friendly people. The grounds and communal areas are very well kept indeed.

The location is ideal to be away from it all but with a lovely beach and other amenities close too hand. As other reviewers have stated there are many bars and restaurants at the marina close by. We would recommend in particular the chinese restaurant at the marina who offer a fantastic quality afternoon three course meal for only 7.50 euros. The food and service at CaboPizza which is a few minutes walk from the apartment was excellent.

We personally felt that a car was not necessary. There are bus stops within walking distance which cover the Marbella to Fuengirola routes from Cabopino for around 2 euros. If you take the bus from Fuengirola however be sure to buy your ticket at the kiosk at the bus station as the bus driver will not allow you to pay on the bus! We would add that if you are reasonably fit the larger supermarkets and banks at Calahonda are walkable (around 15/20 minutes).

The owners provided excellent customer service. We felt that nothing was too much trouble for them. We travelled with our 6 month old baby (who loved his first holiday) and the owners arranged an airport collection and travel cot for us. Communication from the owners was fast, detailed and helpful.

If you are looking for a lovely getaway to enable you to relax and unwind this apartment and its location will not fail to please!

My husband and I have just returned from spending a very enjoyable 10 day stay at this apartment. We can only echo all the previous 5 star reviews it has received. The apartment is immaculate, spacious, bright and extremely well equipped. The location of the apartment is excellent for anyone wanting a slightly quieter base while still having easy access to locations such as Marbella, Fuengirola etc. The location is suitable for guests with or without a car as bus stops are located a 5 min walk away. The apartment is situated close to a lovely marina with plenty of restaurants. The proximity of Pizza Cabopino and Kerry's Sportsbar adjacent to the apartment complex was an added bonus. Every effort has been made by Steve and Barbara to anticipate guests needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this apartment to other holidaymakers.

FANTASTIC HOLIDAY ENHANCED BY A SUPERB APARTMENT

We stayed for nearly four weeks, so the apartment really did become a home from home. We really cannot better the review submitted on 3rd June 2012 which very much mirrors our experience . Steve was very helpful with any questions or issues that we may have had, aided by an accurate and honest overview description of the apartment and Cabopino area.

It's a great size, really well equipped (including things like a washing machine, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron), beautifully maintained and on a complex where the grounds and pool are also really well cared for and within walking distance of a great beach and several lovely restaurants clustered around a small harbour.

We hired a car and took advantage of the excellent location to explore up and down the coast and into the mountains but interspersed this with lazy days on the balcony/beach. The advantage of a base like this is that if you want to keep the costs down, you could easily manage without a car and eat meals in (utilising an impressive array of kitchen equipment!) but if you prefer to travel further afield, it's only a couple of minutes off the coast road which links to main motorway.

If anyone's interested then the white town of Mijas pueblo is lovely for a wander and Ronda is spectacular. We were spoilt with amazing weather (34 on one of the days!) for the time of year but again, even if the weather had not been great, the apartment is lovely and comfortable to spend the day relaxing.

Steve the owner was helpful and informative about things like car hire and his correspondence was great. Even the neighbours over the hall were friendly! Would definitely recommend

The apartment was fantastic.

We thought the apartment was fantastic. It was very well equipped and furnished. Everything we needed was there. The pool and gardens were also lovely. The owner was so helpful before and during our stay for anything we needed. The balcony was great. It was completely in the shade so may not suit people who would prefer to be in the sun but it was perfect for us. And if we wanted the sun, we just popped down to the pool area. The location was good. It was in a quiet area and not too far to walk into cabopino port.

We had a great holiday and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone else who is thinking of going.

Adjacent to the marina is the superb Andy's beach with its array of bars and bistros. For the golfer there are about 30 top courses within easy driving distance.

On the terrace there are 2 sunloungers and dining table and chairs. As well as the air-conditioning and heating the main lounge lights house an electric fan.
