Great location near Campo de' Fiori
Comfortable and charming one-BR apartment, up just one flight of stairs, one block from the French embassy in Piazza Farnese which is just one block from fun and lively Campo de’ Fiori with its daily flowers + fruit market, lined with restaurants and people.
Thank you, John! Hope to see you back soon! We would love have always guests as you two.
Perfect location with a stay in real comfort.
If "location is everything" this is the place to be. The apartment is centrally located within walking distance to almost all the historic sites you want to see. There is a cafe and restaurant across the street as well as a two minute walk to Campo dei Fiori where you can have your pick of a dozen or more. The apartment is clean, and well maintained. The kitchen is small but so well equipped one can cook more than simple meals. The living/dining area is spacious as is the bedroom, and it has one of the largest bathrooms I've seen in an Italian apartment. Besides being an easy walk to grocery stores, another huge plus is the street is absolutely quiet at night providing a peaceful night's sleep. I spent two hot weeks in August in Lucilla's apartment and found it a cool getaway from the vacation crowds. I would stay there again on a future trip to Rome. Grazie, Lucilla! Katherine from NC, USA
Hope to see you back, Katherine!
Very comfortable apartment.
Great location, fairly easy to walk to attractions. Distance from train but metro nearby .
Great local pub with very reasonable prices and good food, across the street.
Comfortable bed, a/c only in bedroom. Staff brought us a fan for living area as weather was extremely hot. Even so we were comfortable. Nice experience.
I will be very happy to have you back anytime!
Location location location!
The host was easy to reach and fast to answer problems or questions. The apartment could use a bit of care, but the bed was very comfortable and the location is perfect! Great value for money!
Hope to see you back!
(please tell us how to improve:next time will be better)
This is a great apartment in a wonderful location. It was perfect for two of us, but would easily fit more. Highly recommend if you want to be close to the sites but feel safe in a neighborhood.
I am waiting to have you back! There is so much to be discovered...
Perfect accommodation in Rome's most charming area
This apartment was perfect for our needs. It is clean, well equipped with all the basics provided, quiet and conveniently situated for central Rome. It is on the first floor with no elevator.
The caretaker was there to give us all the information we needed.
As ever, the disposal of rubbish is an issue which the city seems to be tackling head-on. This does mean having to take rubbish to a central collection point.
An added bonus - choral music from the church of the Venerable English College across the street!
Hope to see you back!
The apartment is accessible by private and public transport. Many different bus stops close. Buses 64 and 40 Express from Termini Railway Station. It is possible to park on the public road (fee due) or there are few covered public parkings nearby(at walking distance or connected by shuttle. The best surprise will be that you do not have to take any bus or metro to reach most of the places of interest: you will walk and you will appreciate the real texture of the historical Rome, the old streets, the noble buildings, the uncounted churches, the superb ruins. Any walk would be a touristic tour itself. And if you are in Rome for business, you will proud to give your address and will be located you in easy reach of your business.
The area is in the heart of Rome, full of artistic attractions and entertainments, very alive, but safe. You can walk to all the touristic attractions in minutes and you can relax at home, or at the many restaurants and cafè in the area. Up date information about events and exhibition will be given to all guets, together with a complete list of some selected renewed shops and services close to the accomodation.
By the way: did you know that since September on Fridays Nights (7 to 11 pm) the Vatican Museums will be open and that will possible to book in advance?
If you have already been in Rome, do not miss the new opening of Palazzo Barberini, home to the National Gallery (waited for last 60 years!)
If your are on business you will be in the reach of all your contacts and you will have one of the most wanted address.
