Beautiful little cottage just the right size for our family of four. Enjoyed our visit to Georgetown. The creek was beautiful and the sound so very relaxing. We would definitely consider another visit and this lovely home.

Quaint, cozy, clean and close to everything!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at Little Cottage was amazing! The owners were very accommodating about a last minute arrival change. There is plenty of room to spread out and the kids (ages 7 and 13) loved their little cozy rooms upstairs. The sound of the rushing stream can be heard from most rooms! The stairs are steep and narrow, but easily navigable. Bathrooms are modern and upto date, both shower heads had great pressure and there was plenty of hot water. Very clean, quaint, cozy and charming. Perfect "home base" centrally located to many area activities. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect by the creek

  • 4 of 5

Four women stayed two nights and we all enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed and the eclectic style was charming. The deck was absolutely wonderful and we spent an enormous amount of time on it. As an added bonus, my sister, who slept in the main bedroom, could hear the river when she slept which was one of the reasons we were drawn to this house. It was immaculate and we were all pleasantly surprised that toiletries were provided. The only drawback for us was the steep staircase to the upstairs bedrooms which Kirsten had told me about over the phone. Because we are older with tired joints it was a little tough but anyone with healthy knees and kids would probably love it. The rooms were very cute! We ate in Georgetown three times and every meal was very good. I would definitely recommend this rental.

Stayed Twice. Just as nice.

Love this place. Cozy. Works great for my friends and me. Love the location in Georgetown: close enough to skiing, but easy to get home again. Great kitchen. Perfect vacation spot.

Very Nice Place, Very Convenient, But We Had Issues...

  • 3 of 5

We enjoyed staying in the cottage. It was close to Loveland and we really enjoyed most of the restaurants in town. Everything is so close that if you stay there in warmer months, you can walk almost everywhere.

The cottage itself was nice. The pull out bed was comfy. As reported by others, the stairs are steep, but they weren't a problem for any of us.

The only issue we faced was that we had no hot water at all when we first checked into cottage. After talking with the owners I went outside, checked the pilot light, and turned the temperature control up on the heater. The next morning the hot water started running; however, the water heater only had about 5 minutes of hot water at any time and took about 1.5-2 hours to fully recover. This caused a logistical issue in trying to get us all cleaned up after skiing before we went out to dinner. The owners were unable to get anyone to repair the issue during our stay. The cottage would definitely rate 5 stars if not for this issue.
