A charming beach house nestled in the trees that gets “oohs and ahhs” from the moment you arrive. Pelican Landing Beach Cottage at Crescent Beach near St Augustine is a favorite. A sleepy away-from-it-all where bare feet and lazy afternoons are always on order. Whether finishing a book or squeezing fresh lemonade is your most arduous task each day, life at Pelican Landing unfolds at a perfection vacation pace.
Hidden behind a large tree canopy, you can enjoy the home and its generous backyard in utter seclusion. On a whim, head to the beach - it’s just a 2-minute walk away and is a total local’s secret! It stays very quiet, with none of the crowds found on larger resort beaches. If you and your dogs prefer, there are great local dog beaches as well - just ask us for recommendations!
Hi! My name is Steve Milo and I started Vacation Rental Pros in 2006. Our family stays in vacation rental homes whenever we travel, both domestically and abroad! I own several vacation homes and listen carefully to all our guests' feedback. Our greatest compliment is when folks refer Vacation Rental Pros to their friends and relatives. We now manage over 1,800 properties in Florida, Tennessee and South Carolina. We have homes in Ft. Myers Beach, Orlando, St. Augustine Beach, Daytona Beach, Palm Coast, Ponte Vedra Beach, Hilton Head and Gatlinburg. We booked over 15,000 rentals and received over 5,000 guest reviews in 2016. Please call if you need help booking your dream vacation!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pelican Landing. The location was perfect for sightseeing, restaurants and especially the beach. We did have to supply glassware (I hate plastic) and the linens were less than you would expect. We also bought a mop and various cooking implements, but we enjoy doing that. I love to cook, and you can't supply everything that everyone likes to use. On the whole, we loved staying here. Our dog learned the route to the beach. She probably would have gone there on her own, if we let her! There is no fence for your dog, but ours is old and stays right with us. Another bonus, St. Anastasia Catholic Church is right up the road and is a wonderful, welcoming parish. And, if you don't feel like cooking or driving far, the Red Frog and McToad is right across the street, and serves great food. We also enjoyed Salt Water Cowboys which is probably only a mile away. A couple of times, we needed to call maintenance and they were there immediately to take care of things. Yes, we would recommend Pelican Landing!
The house is very comfortable (ac works great). It was quite comfy for four people. Beautiful beach. However cars are allowed on the beach during the day so it's best to walk dogs in the morning before 8 a.m. and and in the evenings after 7:30 p.m. Very close to St. Augustine Beach so there are plenty of good places to eat. The house is on A1A which has a lot of traffic but it's a short walk to the beach and well worth the price.
We absolutely loved Pelican Landing. The house was very comfortable and close to the beach. So much to do in the area. Very close to St. Augustine but we liked hanging around the beautiful beaches. This just made me want to buy a beach home. Oh yeah, one of the girls forgot her wallet, but the people that cleaned the house called me immediately to pick it up. Wonderful people. Will definitely rent from them again if I don't buy my own soon.
We were moved to this home because the condo we rented was so dirty and smelled so bad. We were so happy with this home. It was very clean and very cozy. Loved it.
Beautiful home with everything we needed to move in. Close to the beach. Affordable price. We would certainly consider returning in the future.
We arrived on Christmas day, the lock box was easy to use, and the house is beautiful. It's a short walk to the beach and you can walk for miles on the very fine, squeaky white sand. If you don't want to cook,Red Frog & McToad's is right across the street and their food is delicious. We've been visiting this area for 15 years and this is the first house we've rented. It's right on A1A, but the back porch gets you away from it & is very private due to undeveloped lots on 2 sides. We love the beach and this rental puts you close without costing what a beach-front rental costs. The beds are very comfortable and the shower is nice and hot. From the upstairs deck we watched an osprey eat a fish on the utility pole 20' away for a good 20 minutes. Beautiful bird. Relaxing location.
