The views from your back yard are incredible! This charming 4 season cottage is located on Alpine Lake , in the Northeast section of the Poconos. It's floor to ceiling windows through out the kitchen and living room are perfect for watching amazing sunrises over the lake. Enjoy crossing the lake with our kayak or canoe. Lounge and gaze at the trees and the lake from the raised deck over looking the lake. There is a a fire pit for evening entertaining campfires. Also, we have a beautiful board walk from the upper deck to the dock from which to fish or just relax. The country is serenely beautiful in the Fall with all the leaves changing colors and farm stands to visit. There is a candle factory just up the road. Also, a golf course, horseback riding and the animal park zoo, just a short ride away. In the winter there is skiing, snow boarding, and tubing. This affordable vacation property is designed for a quiet small family or a romantic getaway. The interior is clean and updated. The house has a fireplace in the living room over looking the lake.
This is a cozy little 2 bedroom 1 bathroom house which is only 10 minutes away from Camelback Resort. I stayed here for a weekend and I enjoyed how close it was to Camelback, easy drive to go snowboarding. The owner is very nice and polite. I would stay here again.
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at this cozy and romantic cabin on Alpine Lake and we loved it! It had all we needed (we are simple folk) and we spent much of our time on the wonderful deck. The location was great, right on the lake with fishing and kayaking-perfect! The cabin is isolated enough for privacy, but close to Tannersville for shopping, restaurants, etc. Monica was really great to work with and a gracious host. We highly recommend this cabin for a romantic fun stay.
Property was exactly as expected. Very rustic and quaint property with a cabin feel. Lake front was beautiful. Great deck too!
DO NOT RENT this cabin. It does NOT get cleaned between every rental but you WILL pay the cleaning fee. The pictures you see here are old and inaccurate. We couldn't stay in the filth and left 2 days early which ruined our trip. Here is what we experienced:
A foul, musty smell in cabin.
Piles of dirt all over floors.
Old food on floor
Dog hair all over floors and furniture.
Sticky food on kitchen counters.
Handprints and lip-prints on all windows.
Clogged drain in sink.
Clogged drain in shower which creates standing water.
Foul smell from bedroom air conditioner.
Spiderwebs all over.
Most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept in!
Unable to access wifi because the owner doesn't know the correct password.
The boats are not in working use.
This lakeside cottage was a perfect relaxing getaway. Owner was a pleasure and property was exactly as pictured.
When you first arrive at the home the first thing you notice is the awsome lake views. Then you enter the Home which is beautifully maintained with a touch of charm you can only hope to see from a lake front home. The fire pit was very nice and is nestled near the lake for great night Veiws.
