Explore the magic of Chesapeake Bay on your own custom cruise. This summer Adirondack is based in Baltimore and is ready to take you out for a few hours or as long as a week on an all-inclusive vacation. We anchor or stay in marinas, your choice and the captain wines and dines you! Or sample the magic of the ICW in October as we travel to Florida, passing through Charleston, Savannah, Fernandina Beach, St. Augustine and everything in between. And in April, we'll head back north, picking up clients for the return trip to Maine. 'Adirondack' is a 36' classic double cabin Monk trawler with all the amenities including heat and A/C, stove, microwave, oven, refrigeration, freezer, two heads with a stand alone shower, a fast new dinghy and more. Try out the chartering experience with Capt. Jeff, a 100T USCG licensed captain with over 45,000 cruising miles. All-inclusive rate includes all food, beverages, marina fees, fuel, everything except expenses you incur ashore. Learn how to cruise on boats like this or just lie back and enjoy the ride.
100T licensed USCG master, military veteran, former law enforcement officer, reliable and experienced, fun to cruise with with lots of great cruising stories! And I'm open to all of these political, religious and other issues that separate us. I'e been doing this type of chartering since 2003. I'm even a licensed restauranteur! And can do weddings!
Owner/Property Manager purchased this yacht in 2005
This is the best vessel for this type of chartering and cruises, and the only trawler for charter in the area. This is a captained charter, which means that I take care of operating the boat, unless you want to drive. You can learn all about this trawler lifestyle or sit back and leave the driving to me. I am licensed, insured, regulated and equipped with more than the required USCG safety gear. The boat has a four burner stove, oven, heat, A/C, two heads, hot shower, two fridges, freezer, microwave, fast dinghy with new 9.9 four stroke outboard, fishing and diving gear, bicycles. Towels, linens, bedding, food, beverages, docking, marina fees, fuel, everything except expenses you incur ashore are all included in the price.
This is your cruise, on your agenda at your speed. We get up every morning, have coffee and look at the weather forecast. Then we make some sort of plan for the day and hardly ever stick to it! We anchor out in remote and beautiful places where we have all the comforts of home (even a hair dryer!) or we can tie up at a marina. We never go out when we think it's going to be rough. People don't pay this much money to get sick or scared, and I'm very sensitive to those who might not be as familiar to the boat life as others.
...in the search for something adroft from the usual beach-side hotel stay, we stumbled across an ad placed by Captain Jeff of Trawler Time Charters...his vessel, the Adirondack, a 2 room trawler that sleeps 4 (we were 4...coincidence?) was available to accommodate us...all inclusive with food, drinks of choice and all amenities that any landlocked hotel would have...we had no preconceived notions...just wanted to enjoy a couple of days on the water...Capt Jeff did not disappoint. We had a wonderful time, great food, drink, conversation and (without a doubt) some of the most beautiful natural scenes we've ever had the pleasure of indulging in. Thanks Capt Jeff & the Adirondack for giving us a trip of a lifetime.
I'm in Baltimore, doing charters in Chesapeake until September 22. Then I will be doing tours and charters up and down the east coast, starting in Maryland in September and ending in Florida in November. This is a great way to either learn all about the trawling lifestyle of sit back and leave the driving to me on your custom cruise. Everything is included (meals, fuel, adult and other beverages, marina fees) except for expenses you insure ashore. We anchor out or stay in marinas, depending upon weather and your preferences. We start every day with coffee and a look at the weather. We then make a plan and rarely stick to it. That's cruising!
This is for an all-inclusive custom trawler charter for two individuals, $700 for the first night and day, $600 for the second and $500 per additional night. Extra passengers are $35/night, with a maximum of four. The aft cabin is a walk-around double bed, the v-berth has two separate beds. The captain doesn't care who sleeps where. If there are four charterers, the captain sleeps in the salon.
