About the property

2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, panoramic view, close to the beach, Luxurious

The property is overlooking the Aegean Sea. It consists of a separate independent house of 50 sq with a fully equipped kitchen, a dining sitting area and air condition. There is an additional independent bedroom of 15 sqm2. Both can accommodate a couple (and a young child if necessary). This independent house and bedroom are part of a villa, which won’t be occupied/rented.

This unique house is located at the exit of Palio Klima, a traditional small village at the south of Skopelos Island.
This contemporary house has been designed by a French architect and built using latest standards with traditional local materials and techniques. Built with local stones, marble and wood, the house is situated on a large olive grove and enjoys incredible panoramic views on the sea and the island of Skiathos south of Skopelos. Despite its private and very quiet location, the property is only 7 min drive from Glossa, the second village of the Island, and 5 min drive from Armenopetra an adorable beach and 25 km from Skopelos town

The property spreads out on various levels and has great spaces that allow for overall comfort; a good size swimming pool (12x4m) with a series of lounging on one hand, dining areas and romantic corners on the other hand, permit guests to either get together or simply isolate for a while from the rest of the group. Various activities are available on site: a kid’s tree house, a table tennis table, and because we are French a boules ground! On top all necessary snorkelling equipment will be available (flippers, masks…)

The house provides also a BBQ and open kitchen area with stunning views!.

At last there is a panoramic terrace which allows great evenings watching the stars!

A daily pool cleaning and a weekly house cleaning and change of linens are included in the price.

Please contact owner before booking.

Amazing views!

Very pretty and secluded location, with stunning views of the Aegean. Spotlessly clean. We would definitely recommend this for a relaxing, get-away from it all holiday.

relaxing retreat with beatiful views

  • 5 of 5

Very tastefully decorated, spacious, combined living/eating/kitchen area, leading to a large, open bedroom with a very comfortable king-size bed. A large second bedroom has a separate entry, and in order to use the bathroom at night, one has to walk through the garden (a bit frightening for younger kids). We loved the floor cooling system, resulting in perfect temperatures to sleep or nap after a day in the sun. Beautiful garden, with luxurious clean infitity-pool offering jaw-dropping views over the Aegean sea. The sunsets are just outstanding! Plenty of room to spend afternoons and evenings relaxing on the sunbeds, to enjoy meze and drinks at one of the several tables and sitting areas or to play in the garden (table tennis, boules...). Several large, stylish umbrellas offer the necessary shade.

Christos and his wife looking after the property were fabulous! The met us at the port, helped with first groceries, and were always available if we needed help. Very friendly and charming!

Cecile and Cyril’s tips and recommendations were very helpful, and all the descriptions and fotos are accurate (if not understating the beauty of the place). They made their holiday home a real jewel!

Of note: there were a lot of wasps, apparently more than usual. Christos' traps and tricks were effective in reducing their number, but eating outside was not always a pleasure (and sometimes impossible). This was the same on the whole island and has nothing to do with the very well-maintained property.

Simple but chic accomodation within a house set within a spectacular location.

  • 5 of 5

The arrival, driving along a rough and narrow track, is a little daunting but the end result is worth the tension as this villa has one of the most jaw dropping vistas across the Aegean. This is experienced from various levels of the garden and in context to the surrounding olive groves and roses and other flowers makes for an exceptional location. It provides complete escapism for those needing peace and tranquility but combined with the modern essentials of wifi, speakers for music and great pool (plus table tennis for the more energetic).

Once the drive is conquered all provisions inc good food and wine can be easily sourced from nearby Glossa. It is astonishing that the island remains so comparatively undeveloped (compared with eg Skiathos) and the islanders were all friendly and receptive with some good rustic tavernas and small beaches (all mercifully Mamma Mia free). Christos and Despina discretely kept the Villa clean and tidy inside and out and were charming.

Villa Elaionas was a memorable experience and many thanks to Cecile and Cyril for making it so.

Lovely villa, great location

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely week and we thought your house was beautiful. It was very well-equipped and tastefully decorated. We especially liked the Moroccan pieces having been there ourselves last year. The restaurant recommendations were excellent: we tried Flisvos, Agnanti and Plateia (twice). Unfortunately Anatoli in Skopelos was closed for the season. As for beaches, we visited Limnonari, Perivoliou, Stafylos and Milia but our favourite was Kastani. We enjoyed the pool, table tennis and pétanque as well. It's hard to think of any improvements you could make. Christos and his wife were very helpful. Thanks again, we would definitely like to return one day.

a piece of Greek paradise

  • 5 of 5

We had two fantastic weeks at Villa Elaionas. The villa was stylish, private, quiet, very clean, and with everything we needed. Cecile and Cyril gave lots of help beforehand with organising travel and a car, and lots of really good recommendations - we tried everything they suggested and it was all great. Their representatives on the island were also really helpful, just lovely - we couldn't decide if we were more sad to leave them or the amazing view - which was fantastic. It was great to have a pool - if we didn't fancy the beach we could just hang out at home and take constant dips when it got too hot - with swifts dipping into the water surface while we swam - it was amazing. The location was great for accessing all the beaches, and the nearby town of Glossa was lovely in the evenings. We would absolutely love to return in the (near!) future - thanks for making our holiday so wonderful.

Tranquil with fantastic views

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for two weeks late June into Early July and enjoyed a fantastic stay in this very clean and tidy Studio Apartment. We were met at Loutraki by the very friendly Christos, who looks after the property.

This tranquil accommodation is situated below the owners main house (that was not occupied), with the pool on the next level via a few steps from the courtyard outside the property.

The Studio/apartment was well suited to us as a couple, large lounge area/kitchen/dining area (only complaint was no soft sofa/chairs to relax in within the lounge area), this led into the bedroom that was very spacious with plenty of storage , off the bedroom was a large shower room.

The lounge area opened out into a pretty courtyard, from this, this led to the pool area on the next level, we have stayed in many Villa's and the views and pool was the best we have ever experienced, the panorama from the pool decking was to die for, uninterrupted views looking out over the sea with the neighbouring islands in the background, the peace and quiet and the location assured a tranquil stay at Villa Elaionas.

We opted to visit Loutraki for our meals out and would highly recommend Aramis for snacks or a full meal, we enjoyed 7 to 8 meals there and the food was fantastic, with such friendly owners/staff

Finally, we went on a sea kayaking experience with Skopelos Kayaking, a great day our for all ages, and such friendly people

We would definitely stay again and would recommend to friends and Relatives.

Alan & Karen
