2nd time around

  • 5 of 5

I recently spent 10 glorious days at Debbie's house. I have been there before. It is the only holiday home I have ever returned to. Everything about the house is first class, from the thick fluffy towels to everything you need in the kitchen. The sunrises were spectacular. The local market in Tully has everything you need. Paddy Coynes pub was a favorite.

Visiting Debbie's mom and dad, Mary and Michael Jo next door was a treat. Superb location for touring all around Connemara.

So sorry to not see Deb, but Mary made me feel right at home.

I will be back for sure. Thanks Mary.

amazing views and warm welcome

  • 5 of 5

The house is just as lovely as the photos show. We have never stayed anywhere with such amazing views. It was lovely to make food in the kitchen and sit at the dining room table and watch the world go by Debbie and her mum were so friendly and welcoming, it really made a difference to our stay. We were loathed to leave this happy, tranquil location. We will definitely return if we can. it was very beautiful in December and we would love to see it in the summer. Thanks Debbie for making our stay special.

Home away from home but with a view

  • 4 of 5

Beautiful home, fabulous ocean view. Loved the tiled and wooden floors . Lounge cozy with carpet and fireplace. You would never know it was cold outside. Central heating a charm. Village delightful. Loved the roar of the sea and the crackling stones as the sea washed out. Antique bathroom decor a delight too. Ease of use of appliances a pleasure, well stocked . Nice home touch and feel. Beds and pillows nice, firm and comfortable . Would definitely go back. Thank you Debbie.

Warm, cosy and comfortable stay in Renvyle

  • 4 of 5

We had a lovely stay at Sea for Miles. The house is large, cosy, warm and comfortable and we looked forward to coming home in the evenings to sit in front of the fire. The kitchen is fully equipped and the house also has a good TV package. The view is breathtaking and should we find ourselves in Ireland again we will definitely be staying! Highly recommended.

Beautiful home and a very enjoyable stay

  • 5 of 5

This is beautiful house that I hope to return to again on holiday. The house is very well equipped and comfortable. Without doubt the location and views from the house are amazing. You can sit and watch for the view for hours from the comfort of your armchair; on a rainy day with the fire lit it was great. We came for a week of rest and relaxation and that is what we had. There is however an abundance of things to do in the surrounding area; so plenty to do if that's what you are looking for. I didn't do too much walking but my partner climbed Tully Mountain, which is very close to the house, and he thought it was a great way to spend a few hours. The beach was lovely and so clean. Travelling out of the main holiday season meant that some of the restaurants etc weren't open, however we did eat at the Renvyle Hotel and it was fantastic.

Debbie was great with providing loads of information and so nice to deal with. Her mum lives next door and if you pop in to say hi you will be greeted by a lovely lady; a warm, friendly and welcoming neighbour.

Hope to be back soon.

Location

Car: necessary

Renvyle is situated in the heart of Connemara - approx. 90 kms from Galway City. (Ardnagreevagh is approx. 5 kms west of Tullycross). Kylemore Abbey and Connemara National Park are both within a fifteen minute drive from the house. There are several white sandy beaches also within a few minutes drive. The White Strand is a 4 minute drive from the cottage and Glassilaun beach is 15 minutes drive from the house. The house is rurally located and directly overlooks the sea and the islands. Renvyle House Hotel is the nearest hostelry and from door to door, is a five minute drive. There are several excellent and reliable taxi services in the area and once booked in advance, you can be guaranteed a reliable transport service to and from the local villages.
