The house is located close to the lake in the Pierre et Vacances village of Les Restanques du Golfe du Saint Tropez (Gulf of St Tropez).

The site has extensive facilities, including 3 pools (1 exclusive to the houses close to the lake) with the other 2 (1 heated) making up the large aquatics area which is perfect for families who can enjoy the wave machine and discrete water slides.

The gated site has the feel of a "village" due to the way the villas are set out and the mature planting of trees and shrubs. Other facilities include tennis courts, table tennis, volleyball, boules, a play area for children, an outside amphitheatre, spa facilities and more.

There is a reception area which provides help, assistance and information - including the daily activities. Many of these are free whilst some charged on the day dependent on the activity. There is a small shop adjacent to the main reception selling fresh bread, fruit, veg and other usual provisions. The site is gated.

There is a separate kitchen in the house, many of the villas on this site have screened kitchen areas whereas this one is in its own room which is large enough to be comfortable. Dishwasher, oven, grill, fridge freezer and usual standard equipment.

The House sleeps 8 but we would recommend 6 as there are 3 upstairs bedrooms. A further 2 people can be accommodated on the downstairs sofa-bed, as is often the practice on the continent, however, we would not recommend this for anything other than guests or possibly children.

The house has windows on the side in addition to the back and front, this makes it light and is unlike many other villas on site.

It is close to the lake with the garden adjoining but no direct view of the lake from the house.

Why Mrs Judith Saunders chose Grimaud

Has additional windows that make it lighter. Is in a quieter part of the site adjacent to the lake but within walking distance of the main reception and the main pool complex. The covered terrace downstairs and upper terrace on the first floor make an ideal combination, as do the french doors that open from 2 bedrooms onto the upper terrace.

Has both upper and lower terraces ideal for shade or sun.

Thanks for you message.

It is difficult to find the right words for this week in your house. It was really exceptional.

We left Kreuzlingen with cold and rainy weather. Arriving in Les Restanques we have had temperatures between 20 and 23 degree celsius and most of the time the sun was shining. It was great, and it was April. Normally I expect such a weather in June.

Your house is perfect for our family. Normally the Pierre & Vacances houses are smaller. The size of your house is a little bigger, which brings more comfort to the stay. The bigger citchen is perfect for team cooking. And your house is equipped very elegant.

The position near to the lake allow to have short walks in a nice area and with the ducks and the fishes in the lake you can relax in nature.

The pick up of the key at the reception as well as the check out works perfekt.

We have enjoyed the stay in your house. And we would book it again.

During our stay an other family from Zurich asked us about your house. We have enthused about your house. I have handed over them the adress from FeWo-direct. I have the feeling, that you could have more interested persons for your house than weeks you can rent.

And to be sure we are able to book your house also in the future: Is FeWo-direct the only portal you are offering your house?

Notes:
A large well thought out site with main Reception, shop, restaurant (pizza oven), cafe and terrace area. Multiple events and facilities, pick up a schedule upon arrival at the main reception. Great for families.

Idyllic Setting

Long time visitors to the area but first time at this location.

Property was ideally situated and in a beautiful setting close to lake with wonderful views all around.

Contained everything we needed for a relaxing two weeks including the all important air con for those warm nights.

Thoroughly recommend and owner a delight to deal with.

Lovely setting.

Nice house, very light and airy. Sun-trap balcony is idea for sundowners. Felt we could let the kids run free on the site. They loved the wave machine which comes on every hour. I paint and did a lot of sketching especially in Port Grimaud and St Maxine. Restaurant is ok on site and shop has all the basics. Good base for exploring. We would definitely consider going again.

Beautiful villa for a fantastic holiday!

We had a fantastic holiday at Judith's house. The villa was large, bright and clean. We enjoyed having breakfast, lunch and dinner outside in the shade. The location is great, close to the pools yet far enough to avoid any noise. Judith was very prompt to communicate with us. We would love to come back again next year!
