My partner and I had a lovely stay in Le Maris chez Paolo. The apartment could not be better situated both in terms of neighborhood amenities and also exploring greater ( and I mean great) Paris. And, as others have mentioned, pretty much everything you might want or need is provided in the apartment (except, as others have mentioned, Light. It is dim even on a sunny day).

Paolo is very attentive to queries and other communication. The vibe in the apartment is as he describes: artsy, funky, and colorful. In fact we purchased an African mask while there and it looked very good with the existing mix.

Perhaps worth mentioning for some people: the 1.5 bathrooms listed are a WC with sink near the entry and a tub and sink/vanity sharing space with the laundry facilities across the apartment. Everything works well, and it is so great to have laundry on premises.

If you do take Paolo's advice and try to visit Chez Nénesse, beware it is closed on Saturdays. We saved it for last and were disappointed. Next time!

We loved our stay in Paolo’s Place. The apartment was exactly as in the pictures. It was quiet, warm and cosy even on a cold night. The bed was comfy and we slept well. Everything you need was provided and the place was spotless. The washer and dryer worked well.

The location was fantastic. Lots of cafes and shops as soon as you step out of the building. Picasso museum is visible across the square.

I would highly recommend this place and would love to stay here again.

So many positive things to say about this apartment, not sure where to begin. First, the owner was extremely easy to communicate with and he sent us a lot of useful information for the area. It was located in a charming part of the Marais with many restaurants, bakeries, groceries, pharmacies, shops, and anything else you would need close by. The apartment had plenty a room for two people and all the conveniences of home. Having a washer and dryer was an extra bonus. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed to make a nice meal. The apartment even had a lot of essentials available for us such as an umbrella, shopping bag, laundry detergent, blow dryer, kitchen condiments and other personal items which was a very nice touch. The neighbors were nice and friendly. We would highly recommend this lovely apartment and would definitely consider staying here again. Merci Paolo for allowing us to stay in your lovely apartment. The best location, right in the heart of Le Marais! Great having a washing machine and living like a local. Just needs a bit more lighting, little dark.

The apartment was located close to several metro stops as well as various cafes, shops and a covered market. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was clean. We highly recommend it!
