Nice & Cozy

  • 4 of 5

Very nice and cozy cabin we had a fun little get away. While there it did nothing but rain and it was chilly we asked the owner to please turn the heat on. It took sometime since it was the first time this season it had been started but he got it going quickly. I loved how we could look out our window and see the cute farm animals. Right before we left I took my 4 yr old up to the fence to see the sheep...I don't know much about farm animals but I could tell one of the sheeps leg was hurt maybe even broken it was kind of disturbing and sad to see my son even got sad I sure hope that the animal is getting the care it needs! Other then that we had a good stay and I would recommend the cabin to others. Thank you.

Owner's Response: Hi Brianna, thanks for your review. The sheep you saw was born with that problem, she actually had two malformed legs but we worked with them and got one leg to work. Come back and see us again, Harold.

Quiet and Cozy

  • 5 of 5

This will be our 2nd time using this cabin for a weekend getaway..and again it doesn't disappoint...comfortable, relaxing cabin...clean, less than a 5min drive to the state park, quiet, money better spent here than a hotel...more space, no neighbors on the other side of walls. :). And all the basic comforts of home...but better, bigger and more unique than a hotel room

Beautiful Cabin! Perfect for our family!!!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I really loved staying at this beautiful little cabin and will definitely be returning! It is very clean, and welcoming. The owners were great to work with. They have a lovely home, and yard. The cabin is decorated with such a charming touch, many refinished vintage and antique pieces!!! Well stocked kitchen, which made it so nice to cook, and save some $ not eating out every meal. The washer and dryer was really convenient, so we could wash the swimming suits and clothes after visiting the hot springs. The WiFi password did work on our phones, (make sure the first letter in the password is capitalized then it works perfectly). We rented a couple Redbox movies from the Maverick in town, and everything worked well. The location is great, only a couple minutes from the Hot Springs and Downtown. Easy to run into town enjoy an activity and come back to relax. We will recommend this vacation rental to any friend or family visiting Thermopolis!!! Thank you Becky and Harold for letting us enjoy your cabin, hope to be back soon!

Relaxing little Wyoming cabin

  • 5 of 5

My two teens and I just spent a week at the Red Lane Casita, and once again I was so pleased by another great VRBO booking. The owners were lovely - great communication leading up to our stay, available for questions about the property and location once we arrived, and friendly but non-intrusive while we enjoyed our week. I loved running into them for brief chats as we were coming and going. The cabin had everything we needed, (including better wifi than I have at home) and I slept so well on the queen mattress that I may need to purchase one for myself! Evenings were spent relaxing outside, watching the sunset, viewing antelope in the neighboring field or the antics of the neighbor goats and chickens. While in Thermopolis, you must make a stop at the Visitor Center! The woman who works there is a wealth of information and can point you in the right direction for whatever activities you might be interested in, whether in town or nearby. We visited Legend Rock (about 30 minutes outside of town), Star Plunge (at Hot Springs State Park), hiked most of the trails at the state park, as well as Roundtop out near the airport (best view in town), explored the Wyoming Dinosaur Center, went white water rafting in the Wind River Canyon, and spent a day up in Cody at the museum there. There is plenty to keep you occupied for a week's stay near this quiet little town, and the Red Lane Casita is a great location to start all of your adventures from!
