We enjoyed this flat. The location was perfect for us as my daughter is attending uni near by. It was convenient to Aldgate East tube station and lots of places to eat and shop within walking distance. The flat itself was exactly as advertised. The one thing that would have been helpful was a welcome book with more information, such as how to work the radiators and microwave. We figured it out after playing around with both. We would recommend this flat!
This VRBO has an excellent location, just around the corner from a tube stop. We just jumped on it and were off to everywhere. The first day we got lost though returning to the place and we called Ian twice and he helped us thee old ladies find our way back. Ian was very helpful and was at the place the first day we got there ready to let us in. It also is a block a way from a grocery store and several good eateries which came in very handy. I would highly recommend Ian's place.
The flat was well furnished and had a close supermarket. Brick Lane is only a 5 min. Walk and tube is close. I would stay here again. But, bring your own soap.
This is a great place to stay as it is close to the Underground and convenient to local shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again as it is so nice to be able to prepare some of your own meals and the extra space allows you more freedom of movement.
Location was great, just 10 mins from the tube, heaps of services nearby - supermarket, restaurants, convenience stores, bottle shops, etc. Is in zone 1 for the the tube and whilst we grabbed the tube most days it was cheaper in a cab to Kings Cross on our last day so keep that in mind if you leave/arrive via there. The welcome was great and Ian was readily available via messaging for any queries we had. There was the four of us, 2 adults and two kids (12 & 9) so if yours don't mind sharing a Spacious pull out sofa then highly recommended for all mid sized families or couples. Thanks heaps guys.
We have just left Ians place having stayed for a week. I highly recommend his place. It is true to the online description and we were very happy with everything.
It's close to the underground but bus 25 goes into Oxford circus if you've got the time for a slower, more interesting trip. The Thames Path was a good find too, we took a long walk home from Greenwich one day and really enjoyed it if you have time and energy.
We were impressed by how sound proof the flat was from the neighbours. It was also nice and bright and clean. After a short mix up with the number of the apartment on arrival, we found it OK and Ian was there waiting and helpfully explained everything. We didn't need anything during our stay but I felt confident that Ian was close by to help if needed.
In short, this apartment was great and I recommend without hesitation.
