Renting Fall & winter holidays & The Cooperstown Ice Fest. Family & Pet Fri
About Pamela Noonan
I have an appreciation for Cherry Valley, having property that has been in our family for over 100 years. The geography is stunningly beautiful and the village is small and peaceful with a very strong artistic theme running through it.
Pamela Noonan purchased this Barn in 1998

Pamela is a wonderful hostess. She offered many times to get items we needed, showed us around her lovely home and took time to talk to us about the area. Wish we could have stayed longer ! The house is great for family or friends to spend time together.
Harvest Festival Perfect Getaway
We enjoyed our stay at this lovely restored barn. It is spacious, very comfortable and has personality. My daughters and I were here for the September Harvest Festival in Sharon Springs. The gardens are beautiful. The first night we decided to stay in and enjoy the place and had wine and charcuterie on the deck. The place is very spacious, full of charm and a perfect place to stay while visiting Cooperstown and surrounding area. Pamela is a delightful host and I am sure you will enjoy the accomodations. Thank you, Pam!
Hi there, thanks so much for the feedback. Yes, come back fo the 11th annual festival. I'll leave the lights on for you!!! till then, regards, Pam
The perfect place to stay if you are looking for country charm without roughing it. The barn is amazing and immaculate. Pam was wonderful. Location was perfect for our visit to Sharon Springs Springs and surrounding area. Hope to return with the kids!
Very Lovely Renovated Barn. Pam was wonderful and very helpful. Highly recommended
Peaceful, spacious, and welcoming.
I loved this cottage! My friend and I decided to ring in the New Year someplace quiet and homey, Pam's place more than delivered. She kept in contact prior to and during our stay and made sure we had everything we needed, even having a toasty fire in the fireplace roaring for when we arrived. We definitely want to come back!
Thankyou for taking the time to review the cottage house and I hope to host you again. Consider the fall as it is so beautiful and you can see my gardens. Bring gardening tools if you want! Regards, Pam
Great place to stay in Cherry Valley
We spent this past weekend at Pam Noonan's amazing restored property in the quaint town of Cherry Valley. Close to Cooperstown we were looking for a place to spend a getaway weekend with friends. The barn is incredible - Pam has done an amazing job of renovating this historic property. Fully equipped and comfortable - we loved it. Pam had everything ready for our arrival - even a fire ready to light in the wood stove. We cooked dinner in the large kitchen and had all the equipment we needed. If you are looking for a different experience off the beaten path this is the place for you. We highly recommend it and look forward to visiting again.
Built in 1869 and restored in 2001, this 2 story carriage house is set on an acre of land in the village of Cherry Valley, nestled between the Catskill and Adirondack Mountains. Surrounded by gorgeous gardens, tall trees, stunning fall foliage, you have the sense of total privacy along with the convenience of walking around the corner to enjoy the local restaurants. The house includes 2 bedrooms with a 3rd sleeping area, 2 baths, a large kitchen and a beautiful working fire place in a sunken living room, with a downstairs sun room, an upstairs vine covered deck and a large family room. Plenty of space for a large family, and a washer and dryer are on site.
For you history buffs, Cherry Valley was an important link between the Mohawk and the other Nations of the Iroquois Confederacy. In 1738, the village, originally known as The Lindesay Patent, which was land in the Mohawk Valley under King George, later became known as Cherry Valley, the site of the Cherry Valley Massacre, one of the most notorious events of the Revolutionary War on November 11, 1778. And yes, George Washington slept here! Cherry Valley was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988 and you can visit the Cherry Valley Museum for more about the village’s place in history.
Cherry Valley is rich with artistic endeavors. CV Artworks hosts a series of concerts, openings and events such as the international kite festival right in the center of town. The Kite festival will be held on Friday and Saturday, September 26th and 27th.
Within 15 minutes you have Cooperstown, rich with culture, history and sports. The home of James Fennimore Cooper and his Leatherstocking Tales as well as the Home of The National Baseball Hall of Fame, the Glimmerglass Festival and the Farmers and Fennimore Museum, there is something going on for everyone. Perhaps you want to do nothing but relax, ride a bike or rent a boat and enjoy the beautiful Otsego Lake. Or you can visit historic Sharon Springs (13 miles away) and enjoy the annual harvest fest on September 20 and 21st or the garlic festival on October 4th and 5th. There are multiple golf courses, biking and hiking trails and antique shops in every direction.
