Nested alone on the last floor of a building, Elegant and spacious 180sq.m.(1830sq ft) this 3 bedroom 2 full bath penthouse apartment features a HUGE veranda of additional 180sq.m. (1614 sq ft)!!!! Veranda is perfect for entertaining with built in wood burning oven for barbecuing and a spectacular wrap around view of the city and sea. Modern kitchen fully equipped with dishwasher, glass cook top , electric oven , micro wave coffee and espresso maker. Living room and dining room are open plan with gleaming white marble flooring. Adjacent to the living room is an office and extra leisure space. Free wi-fi ready and opening onto verandas. All three bedrooms access verandas and are air conditioned. The bedrooms all have beautiful oak wood flooring. Master bedroom has ensuite bath with luxurious soaking tub. The Penthouse is perfectly located approx. 150 meters from the famous sandy beach of Reythmnon and only 500 meters from Old RenaissanceTown. Convenient to all markets and shops. Street parking available. Pet friendly with pre-approval. Minimum stay is 4 days.
The apartment is well-maintained and has a very spacious and comfortable living area with huge outdoor patio which was extremely pleasant in the evening. Unfortunately it was very hot while we were in Rethymno and there is no air-con in the living area or kitchen (there is air-con in all bedrooms). It is possible to get some breeze but we still found the living areas a bit too warm at this time of year (September).
The apartment is not as close to the beach or old town as we expected - it is about 200 metres from the beach and the old town is about 15-20 minutes walk along the waterfront.
There is a good deli/fruit and vegetable shop just below and a great coffee shop/restaurant just across the road.
Overall I think it is good value for the price, but in future I would prefer to stay in the old town even though it is more expensive.
The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. It was very close to the beach and there was only short walking distance to old town. The terrace at rooftop was very large and had nice views. I would definitely choose this apartment as a better option compared to small hotel room.
Accommodation was excellent, just like on presented picture. Huge terrace with great view was a best part for us.
Public city beach was 3 min walking, and old city was 6-7 min walking from apartment. In front of building is street parking and across street is free public parking where always had been free spaces (in August).
Owner was very helpful.
Lägenheten motsvarade allt som utlovats och lite till. Gott om utrymme för en stor familj, bra utrustning och härlig terass med sittplatser i flera väderstreck. Utegrillen användes frekvent trots värmen. Wifi fungerade bra.
Avståndet ner till stranden ca 200 m. På gatan ner till stranden hittar du fiskhandlarn, supermarketen, slaktarn och bagarn. :-)
Hyresvärden svarade snabbt på frågor och var till god hjälp med det mesta. Allt från transfer från flygplatsen till goda råd inför läkarbesök. Ett stort tack till Renia för hennes gästvänlighet.
Om Rethymnon står som resmål nästa sommar så återkommer vi gärna till detta fantastiska ställe.
Lägenheten var allt som bilderna lovade och lite till. Den stora verandan med utegrill var ett stort plus. Bra inredning och utrustning för en stor familj på semester.
Till detta kommer en hjälpsam och trevlig hyresvärdinna som ordnade allt från flygplatstransfer till läkarkontakt. Ett stort tack till Renia.
