This clean and cozy location has beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, and a great place to relax. Connie was a gracious host, and was eager to respond to any of our requests. This was a very pleasant place to stay.
This mini apartment loft was perfect for us! Everything was just as we expected, but the mountain views were much more beautiful than we expected. Our hosts are so friendly and welcoming and provided some little extras in the fridge and snack bar. We also had all the privacy and peace that we had desired. We look forward to returning for a longer stay!!
This is great for a couple or a small group of friends/family - be ready to get active!
My husband, 2 pups and I had the most incredible experience at this ranch. We were traveling to MT for a wedding in Butte and wanted to stay nearby. Logistically, this ranch is a great touch point for Yellowstone (but take more than one day at Yellowstone, or get up really early), Butte, Bozeman and Big Sky.
Way more importantly, our living quarters were pristine (just like a 1-bedroom apartment), the view was breathtaking and our hosts were so incredibly kind. The kitchen was stocked with basics (coffee & coffeemaker, cooking oil, dishes/pots/pans, ketchup/mustard, a few sodas) and some critical, thoughtful extras like protein bars that definitely came in handy.
They showed us how to get to many remote trails in the surrounding state forest that we never could have known about - they even drove us to the trailheads! Beyond that, our hosts were chatty and fun conversationalists.
They also let us use their workout facilities. Not only did we hike for hours with our dogs, we bouldered up rock formations and did cross fit workouts (and if you are inclined to climb up ropes, you can do that, too)! We also had access to a grill and firepit. The ranch was so great we ditched most of our tourist plans and just hung around locally! There is so much more we could've done if we'd stayed longer, too.
We absolutely recommend these hosts, their adorable dogs (just be sure your dogs behave) and this location as a place to stay. We'll be back!
