About this property

Plain furnished flat on the ground floor of a semidetached house (two floors) with private access to the seaside. The rooms, comfortable and full of light, overlook the garden and the sea through large windows.
The furniture is modern and elegant; in the kitchen you can find all you need to cook with comfort; the bedrooms are well-aired and quiet, and welcome you with the color of the mediterranean country.
The wide areas in the garden(in common with the second floor) are suitable to relax in the shade of the tall pines or to enjoy the sicilian sunshine. The garden and the sea are connnected by 10 steps. The rock coast, sheltered in gulf of Solanto, is easily enjoyable through a small private pier and a solarium with deckchairs.
The calm, clear and beautiful sea invites to do scuba diving, snorkelling, swimming. Nearby there is a beach club for water-skiing, sailing, surfing, canoing, and scuba diving. Diving equipment can be rented.

An autumn break in Paradise

We stayed for a week in October as a family break. The photos looked lovely and our expectations were fully met with very spacious and comfortable accommodation along with glorious outside space to relax in secluded luxury. We were well looked after by the owners and had a fabulous time from start to finish. The views are sensational and we ate all of our meals outside enjoying the spectacular flora. We also ventured down the steps to the sea and spent many pleasant hours investigating the sea life. It is also well placed for touring around Palermo and along the coast.

FABULOUS!

You can never be certain that the images you see of an apartment are as good in real life as they are on the website. We can honestly say that Eduardo’s apartment more than lived up to expectations. The terrace is large with chairs and tables placed to take advantage of sun or shade (not to mention the moon) at all times of the day and night and with private access to the rocky shore again with loungers strategically placed. Snorkeling was a joy in the crystal clear waters. The views are stunning and we never tired of them. The property is surrounded by a beautifully tended garden which is a joy. The apartment is extremely well equipped, clean and very light and airy. Beautifully laundered linen was provided as was a plentiful supply of towels. The satnav took us exactly to the location and Eduardo and Maria were there to greet us. A welcome pack was also provided which was greatly appreciated. The reply to our original enquiry was prompt and a week before our visit Eduardo and then Vittorio contacted us with useful information. Vittorio’s English is excellent. We had thought we might not need a car as we understood the station was nearer than it actually is but a car is a necessity. We chose Santa Flavia as a location because of the station so we could visit Palermo by train. This worked extremely well - parking outside the station was easy and the ticket system was easy to understand as instructions were in several different languages. Mariela and Mario who live upstairs were delightful and so helpful. We have made new friends! Nothing was too much for Mariela in particular whose English is very good. Vittorio kept in touch with us during our stay and he was really helpful. The only drawbacks to this great apartment was the approach was off-putting with a lot of rubbish not being collected on a daily basis and litter everywhere and parking was slightly tricky. On a few occasions we had to park the car a five minute or so walk away. We had a Panda which was about the right size - anything larger would have caused more problems. We would definitely return here.

Outstanding seaside villa / Quiet neighborhood

The pictures are beautiful and once in the villa you really appreciate how spacious it is. Edouardo is a great host. He greeted us and showed the way around the property. We really appreciated some the extras that rarely were treated with…little things like plastic wrap, aluminum foil, paper towels, coffee, water bottles, a wine bottle. From the dining room or the living room we have a magnificent view. Once outside in the garden you truly appreciated the view of the sea. You can access the autoroute within 3 minutes and go any direction from there. Denis & Lyne.

Great view

We stayed at Santa Flavia for twelve days. The house has everything you can imagine. The view is spectaculair and the sea is warm and calm. The neighbours who live upstairs are very kind and helpfull. We had a geat time.

Exceptional Oceanfront Home

Spacious and beautiful home with every amenity a family could want. Private sunbathing area and entry point to the sea were incredible... we spent most of our time outside, either in the water or the back garden. We hated to leave and we would love to return as soon as possible.
