Perez Family! We are all about family!
We love to do all the things in Central Oregon!
Barbara Perez purchased this chalet in 2013
Barbara's parents and grandparents all have ties to Central Oregon. Her family has a long standing history of living and doing business in the area: Tamarack camp for girls (Sisters); Rock Springs Guest Ranch (Tumalo); Indian Ford Ranch (Sisters); The Pine Cone (Camp Sherman); Hi Hat Coral (Kahneetah).
Barbara lived in Sunriver as a teen and has always loved Central Oregon. In 2013 Barbara and her wonderful Husband Manny decided to buy Tall Pines Guest House in La Pine and continue her family tradition of providing hospitality for people to enjoy Central Oregon!
Simple and uncomplicated, friendly and charming cottage! Tall Pines is centrally located, with easy access to all the places you want to go! No hassles... just enjoyment! Life is good here!
No long term rental please.
We had a great time staying at this cabin with my wife and two boys. It made a perfect jumping off point for all the hiking, biking, kayaking, and fishing in the area.
Cabin is comfortable and clean. Enjoyed the outdoor horseshoe game and hammock. Also really liked that there was firewood available for the outdoor fire pit.
Two things to consider: stairs to loft are steep and slightly irregular, might be difficult for someone who is not sure footed (small children, elderly, etc). Property is right on a road that is moderately busy with speed limit of around 40 or 50. There is no fence, so small children and pets must be monitored closely.
We felt very welcome and comfortable in the cabin, as owners encourage visitors to enjoy cabin as their own :)
Great spot very well located in terms of access to Newberry Volcanic Monument, as well as La Pine State Park and other outdoor adventure sites. House was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again in the future if I needed a house in the region. The owners were also very helpful and easy to contact.
My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay in this cute little A-frame. The accommodations are simple, but clean and comfortable. Barbara, the host, was warm and welcoming, and quick to respond to questions. It was a perfect base for our adventures around the area's stunning volcanic parks and monuments.
We had a great weekend with games, visiting, and enjoying each other. Thank You
We loved the Tall Pines Guest House! It was a perfect stop for us on our mission to play in the snow. Everything was just as we expected. The owner was very easy to communicate with, and answered all of our questions promptly. We wish we would've been able to stay for more than one night! The home was very cozy and overall we had a great stay!
