Apartment description:

The apartment has wall to wall wood flooring and 2 double bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two twin beds. The self-catering kitchen comes with a dishwasher, washing machine, oven-microwave and all the essentials you might need during your stay including a full bath with a shower.

It also comes equipped with air conditioning, a heating system, a Wi-Fi internet connection and a satellite television.

The flat’s location in the Sagrada Familia district means you’re in for a quiet and peaceful stay in an authentic neighborhood of Barcelona where the people you see in the street also live nearby. It’s a great way to get to know the real essence of what it means to live in Barcelona and be in direct contact with the people who live there and get to know their daily customs and routines.

The neighborhood is safe and offers a plethora of shops, restaurants, bars with outdoor terraces, etc. for you to enjoy. There are also two metro lines and 10 bus lines that stop nearby so you can easily reach the other districts in the city.

We are a Franco-Catalan couple dedicated to the activity of vacation rental since 1999, yes already 18 years. We rent several apartments in the building where we have our offices on the ground floor.

Barcelona is a city from which it is very easy to fall in love. It has been my case more than 20 years ago ... The apartment is located 30 meters from our office located in a family building that we have gradually renovated to offer seasonal rentals. This building has 3 types of apartments, from the studio for 2 people to the large loft for 8 people.

Very good value for money. Modern and well equipped apartments. Quiet but well placed apartments just a few minutes from the Sagrada Familia. A very good assistance during your stay because our offices are located 30 meters from the apartment. It allows us to give you additional information and guide you the best to discover Barcelona. Welcome in french, english, spanish or catalan.

The entire apartment has CENTRAL HEATING for the winter and AIR CONDITIONING for the summer. You have also a washing machine, an iron and ironing board A baby bed is available if necessary. Bed linen and towels are provided at the beginning of stay. The complete cleaning of the apartment is done once a week. The cost of rent includes all utilities (water, electricity, cleaning the apartment). The building is equipped with a LIFT

Fantastic accessible location

My sister and I stayed in this delightful apartment for a week in May, 2018. While not in the hubbub of the Gothic quarter or the born district, that turned into an advantage as the apartment is closely located to two metro stops in a nice,quiet and safe neighborhood. Frèdèric, the apartment mgr. is located right around the corner and is very responsive to any request. He also provided us with a list of terrific grocery stores and restaurants.

The apartment has two nice sized bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two twins, a good sized living room with a pull out couch, a well equipped kitchen and a bathroom. It was very clean and well maintained. The only issue we had was that the twin bedroom is located next to an interior courtyard where noise travels and it doesn't get much air circulation. It would be beneficial perhaps to install a ceiling fan in that room. If you are a light sleeper the other bedroom is probably preferable. Overall, we loved our stay in this apartment and would highly recommend it!

Spotless, well equipped, comfortable, convenient

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful apartment in Barcelona. We were delighted with the cleanliness, the comforts and the location. The gentlemen who manage the rentals were literally around the corner and available for every question or concern. They were extremely helpful.

The apartment is located very close to the metro making it extremely easy to travel all over the city from Parc Guell to Montguic to La Ramblas and the Gothic Quarter. There are good restaurants and cafes nearby with many choices for dinner and afternoon coffees. The owners even have a sheet listing choices for restaurants.

You will not be disappointed in this apartment or its location.

First class, clean fresh & modern in excellent position.

Everything is just as described. Fred & his collegues were very helpful and communicated promptly from booking right up to our stay. The apartment has everything you need and has been tastefully renovated. It is in good position being 15 mins walk from Sagrada Familia. I would recommend this to anybody visiting for a city break .

Perfect property for visiting Barcelona's main attractions

The property was exactly as described. Frederic and his team made sure we were well taken care of and were very helpful providing local information.

The apartment was spacious, comfortable and very conveniently located (only a few blocks away from La Sagrada Familia Basilica and the L5 metro station). The bed was comfortable and the room quiet so you'll sleep very well. The hot water heater system is a tankless one so people are able to take one shower after another without having to wait for hot water (this is typical in European homes).

There are numerous bars and restaurants in the area that offer very good cuisine (we're foodies) at reasonable prices. If you're a burger type person there's a place called Timesburg less than two blocks away on Carrer de la Independencia. There's also a bar right next to the apartment that has excellent coffee (as most places in Barcelona; do yourself a favor and stay away from the Star----- brand as it is overpriced and not nearly as good).

My only minor criticism of the apartment is that the AC units don't cool very fast (if you're accustomed to US AC temperatures) so you need to leave it on all the time for the temperature to reach 24C (75F).

I would definitely stay at the same apartment if I were to return to Barcelona in the near future!

Located in downtown Barcelona this apartment is situated in the EIXAMPLE neighborhood, just a 10-minute walk from the famous church of the SAGRADA FAMILIA, the modernist masterpiece by Gaudi and the most visited monument in Barcelona, and close to the HOSPITAL SANT PAU, a complex of modernist buildings. Both monuments were declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites. At the church of the Sagrada Familia you will find the TOURIST BUS stop, which will take you to see the major tourist attractions of the city. It is a safe and bustling area with restaurants, café terraces and small shops. At night it becomes a pleasant family neighborhood perfect for taking time to relax.

The public transportation in the area is excellent with numerous bus stops and 2 metro lines. The metro line nº5 (Station `Sant Pau I Dos de Maig`) is only a 2-minute walk away. You can reach the Passeig de Gracia (one of the main shopping streets that leads to downtown) in just 10 minutes. On the metro line nº2 (Station `Encants`), only a 5-minute walk away, you can go directly to Plaza Catalunya (main square in downtown Barcelona) and the Ramblas (main street downtown in the Gothic Quarter) in 12-15 minutes. These excellent public transportation options, that are easily accessible from the apartment, allow you to reach the main points of interest of the city of Barcelona in just a few minutes.
