Perfect location, right near the pier and easy walk to shops and restaurants.

Easy walk to everything so no need to drive and try to find parking for shopping or dining every night, yet it was quiet- couldn't hear any traffic or pier noise inside the condo . Condo was clean and had everything we needed, but families with small children should note that the condo was not child friendly- e.g., there's a beautiful but very heavy marble coffee table with sharp corners in the living area that our toddler bumped his head and mouth on several times; there's also a glass table and glass front buffet that we had to constantly guard to prevent injury. Also, there's no elevator, so be prepared to haul groceries, luggage, kids, etc up 3 flights of stairs. Pier Point has only around 30 condos total, which I loved- very quiet and no crowd at the pool. We hated that there was no beach in front of the unit and the walkway steps are covered in water at high tide; however, there is a beach on the other side of the pier, only a short walk away. The ocean in front of the unit was not ideal for swimming with no beach and murky water anyway- we were also afraid to swim there with so many people fishing off the pier nearby, but the pool was clean and beautifully landscaped, so did all our swimming there. Overall, this was a great condo, great location, and a great trip!

Fantastic location!

We loved the location of the condo! We are a family of 4 and have stayed at different locations on the island in the past, but we loved the proximity to the pier/village. We could walk from the condo to the pier in about 60 seconds!

The condo was very clean and the décor was very nice. The view from the balcony is great! You can see the pier, beach and Jekyll Island. Every morning we could see dolphins swimming past the pier.

The beach is only accessible at low tide and the pool isn't very big. That wasn't a big deal to us as we would go up to East Beach to spend the day or if we wanted a larger pool we would walk up to Neptune Park.

The owners were very easy to work with and responded very quickly to any questions that we had.

I would definitely recommend this property!

Location, Location, Location

This property is wonderful! The location is within walking distance of everything in the village of St. Simon's. The condo is decorated in a stylish beach color scheme that fits the feeling wanted while on vacation. We found everything in the unit to be in working order. Minor areas of need (deep cleaning, and minor updates in bathrooms and bathroom linen) would NOT keep us from returning to this unit again and again.

Great Experience!!!

St Simons is one of our favorite places. We love the pier area and being able to sit and enjoy watching people fish and the ships pass by. We have wanted to stay in these condos, but never had the opportunity until this year. We were very pleased with the property.This condo was exactly as the pictures showed. It was very clean, neat and well arranged. Being able to park our car in a private parking area was a benefit. Our favorite restaurants and shops were all within walking distance. We were there for the Fourth of July and had a spectacular view of the fireworks from the balcony. The owners were quick to respond to any questions we had (which were few). We are already making plans to stay again at these condos.

Convenient with beautiful views.

We enjoyed our stay at Pier Pointe. The condo was comfortable and clean.

The location was perfect. We brought our 7and 9 year old granddaughters- there was plenty for them to do and all within walking distance.

We hope to visit again soon.

Location is perfect!

We loved looking out onto the water everyday from this pretty third-floor walk up condo. Not much beach (low tide only), but East Beach is just a short car ride away. The pool is small but nice, and sits very close to the water (almost an infinity pool effect). We practically had the pool to ourselves! For a change, we tried Neptune one day...a small water park a few minutes walk away. The kids enjoyed the water park and the adjacent putt putt course. The condo is decorated very beautifully, with a newer kitchen and an upscale beach decor. The only downsides to our visit: the kids' TV was a DVD player only (no cable), the bathrooms seriously need updating, and one of the toilets wasn't flushing properly. The owners got back to us right away about the issue, however. Also, although there were plenty of linens and cookware, make sure you pack any other essentials you might need if you are staying longer than a couple of days...soap, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, salt and pepper, etc. Overall, a very nice VRBO experience. You really can't beat the location!
