You will be staying in our guest cabin on our 100 acre property. The cabin is located near the main house. The cabin can sleep two adults and two children (maximum). The dimensions of cabin are about 320 sq. feet plus 190 sq feet of outdoor patio living. Kayak use depends on weather and availability of owner and kayaks.
The only problem is that the pictures shown on homeaway.com show a bunk bed and it was not there. One of the reasons why we rented the cabin was because of the extra beds shown. This was a disappointment.
This was a perfect little cabin with plenty of quiet. Looking for a home base to explore the area and visit Glacier NP, the cabin was so nice to come back to relax at the end of the day. There is a short hike to the waterfall on the property. The cabin was extremely clean, cozy and inviting and Mary provided everything for a very comfortable visit. Her 2 dogs were so sweet and I looked forward to their visits. I can't say enough about how much i enjoyed staying here.
New cabin, well stocked, great setting, very competitive price. Friendly owner, 100 acre setting with creek. Definitely would stay there again.
Stayed at Mary's Cabin for my birthday, when we arrived from our long drive it was so wonderful to pull up to this darling cabin in this beautiful setting. When we stepped in side the Cabin. it was so warm and inviting (just perfect). The next morning we were greeted by Snickers and Dyson, Mary's two wonderful dog's. What a treat those two are, loved them. Mary's property is breathtaking with a fabulous waterfall and trout stream. If you want a private setting away from it all this place is for you.
We stayed in Mary's cabin with our 2 teens recently and were very pleased with everything. The cabin is small but very well-stocked and even in a little kitchen, Mary has managed to provide almost every kitchen gadget you can think of. The beds are comfortable, towels and sheets high quality. Everything was very clean and cozy. The cabin is only a half hour from shopping in Whitefish, and our son did lots of fishing on Mary's property and nearby. We also kayaked on a beautiful nearby river. We utilized the outdoor grill and fire pit as well, and were provided lots of firewood to use. Mary is very generous and kind, even allowing me the use of her washer and dryer. We would definitely stay here again!
We LOVED this cabin and getaway. The cabin is beyond cozy, quiet and perfect for two or a small family. We had great fires every night, cooked lots outside on the bbq, did lots of walks and trails along the creek to the nearby waterfall! The property is beautiful (sunsets and sunrises) were very memorable. Mary is extremely kind and her hospitality shows. Her two dogs (snickers & dyson) are very friendly and always welcoming us daily and of course being the best on gaurd dogs ever. Always watching out for us. We are a close drive to whitefish and surrounding areas. Make sure to check out dickey lake. Having no service really made you disconnect while re-connecting. This was the perfect spot for it. We highly reccommend Mary's cabin. Directions were easy and we found the place just fine -follow the blue ribbons ;) ! Mary puts in tons of effort into her cabin, her on the property nearby home and the beautiful acreage she lives on. I hope to be back one day and share in another vacation with my husband and dog. Cabin had fresh bedding, towels, camp supplies, supplies for cooking, fire wood, ax, chairs and relaxing spots throughout the cabin. There is a mini fridge inside, but bring a cooler to stock. We kept it outside on the deck and ate outside every day. A must go to spot to relax, rest and have fun!!! You really do feel the Montana life here.
