The property owner was very responsive to any concerns we had. The views were amazing.
This condo was an excellent size for the 7 of us, 5 adults, a 16 & 11 year old. We had enough space to be together as a family or spend time on our own.
There were a few hiccups with the condo but Nicole the owner was very helpful and sorted out everything promptly. We felt that the condo needed a little bit of tlc but this is just a very small criticism as not much needs doing (sorry Nicole if I’ve offended ). The location is unbelievable just steps to the beautiful beach and swimming pool. The wildlife here is amazing, we saw dolphins, rays, birds, manatees. Fishing is enjoyable and at night we caught small sharks!! We would definitely stay again if we were wanted. Thank you Nicole we had an amazing holiday.

The location was perfect-walking distance to everything we would want, wonderful view of the Fireworks on the 4th, loved John’s Pass. Nicole was kind and responsive. Would love to go back!!

Week long stay with no working air conditioning and it being 95 degrees outside
My family and I were celebrating my grandson's high school graduation. My son and his family were coming to Tampa from Atlanta and I decided to rent a condo on the beach for them to enjoy. It was the week before the Memorial Day holiday and I thought it would make for great memories. Unfortunately, this celebratory time was ruined due to the lack of planning and greed of the owner. To make a long story short, the air conditioning unit in the condo was not working, and only blowing hot air for the entire 7 day stay. We advised the owner the day after arrival of the issue, and she said she WAs aware of the AC issue and they were waiting on "a part" to fix it.. The owner had mentioned the day before check in that there was an issue with the AC, but it had been resolved. We later found out that the part they were waiting for was a compressor! The owner, who then said she was not the owner, offered to provide us with 2 portable units. Keep in mind there are three bedrooms and a living area. She later advised that she was able to find a third unit, but we would have to go and pick it up. We asked for her to keep the lines of communication open, then were later told that she could not continue the calls because she had a newborn at home. Really? I am 77 years old and my granddaughter is 2 years old in a unit with a broken AC system. The temperature was well in the 80's inside and mid 90's outside. We had to keep the blinds closed and unable to enjoy the view to keep the sun out, be available multiple times throughout week to allow maintenance workers and the AC rental unit company access to the unit. Dinner reservations were ruined because times provided by the owner were not accurate. Would you want strangers in your unit alone? Mind you when we left after a 7 night stay, the air conditioning was still not working! The compensation offered was insulting. To add to our experience, the laundry room had an odor of must and mold. I do agree with other reviewers that the living area, kitchen and bedrooms were very spacious and accommodating. When a late check out was requested because maintenance workers were in the unit most of the day on Friday (the day prior to checkout and one of us had to remain in the unit) the owner graciously agreed to allow us an additional half hour. I would not recommend this unit as a rental. Seems as though maintenance is not a priority for this owner and I would never wish my experience on anyone else.
It was unfortunate that our air conditioning unit went down when we did have guests staying in our unit.
This is our response to what our guests wrote:
We learned our AC unit needed a part prior to these guests checking in, however we were assured it was up and running from the previous tenants and AC company while we were waiting on a new part. These guests sent me an e-mail Saturday night at 10:30PM that there was a problem with the AC.
After learning the AC was not working properly, we had a repair man come to the condo on Sunday. He was only able to fix it for a short time and said we would have to wait for the part to come in on Monday. When the part did not come in on Monday we offered our guests a full refund for the week if they wanted to leave at this time, as we were told the part should be in soon, but were at the mercy of the AC company. They refused to leave knowing this and said they would stay and make the best of it. We also offered to put them up in a hotel until AC fixed and they refused.
Then the AC company brought in 2 portable air conditioner units to cool the condo. The guests said that was not sufficient enough, therefore we rented another portable unit from a rental company, and had it delivered. These units were there for their entire week Monday-Saturday and we gladly paid $400 for this additional unit that they requested to make their stay more comfortable.
Nothing we could do satisfied these guests. They called the property manager over 25 times that week when she was already giving them multiple daily updates after new information was communicated to her from the AC company.
We were never told about the maintenance times interfering with dinner reservations or we would have tried to coordinate better.
Due to the AC problems and multiple parts being ordered, we ultimately had to install a new AC unit that Friday.
Upon departure we informed the guests we would refund them 50% of their stay for the inconveniences caused throughout the week.
Under these circumstances we felt we did everything possible to make their stay enjoyable. It's unfortunate that they felt we did not do enough, as we take pride in our condo and have been renting it successfully for 15 years and hope our other reviews reflect this.
Great Beachfront Balcony
We really enjoyed our stay in this large 3 bedroom condo directly on the beach. The kitchen has everything you need to make yourself at home. Large dining table for the whole fsmily to enjoy. Every bedroom has a tv and the living room tv is a smart tv. Internet connection was great and allowed me to work with no issues. We will definitely be coming back someday!
Just like being home
No complaints. Booked it again in 3 months.
