Excellent! - Very clean quiet - very comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen. I would highly recommend this and will stay again.
Place is well maintained and immaculate, we couldn't have asked for anything more. Jane is is a great host!!!!
First let me say that Jane the homeowner is great. Answered all my questions and got back to me in a timely manner.
The wife and I stayed up there in February 2017. We went up there for our yearly big snowmobile trip. Too bad the weather didn't cooperate and it was 40s and 50° and sunny most of our stay. But that didn't stop us from having a great time. The snowmobile trail number three is literally 100 yards away from the station. There is some great off Trail Boondocking if you can find it. We hired a guide Matt Downey from Keweenaw Snow Expeditions. Had a great time with him. Even had the wife off Trail climbing hills it was an awesome experience.
Sorry rambling on about my vacation. On to the house. No we showed up it was 40 some degrees so the parking lot was pretty soupy. I am very glad that we brought some old towels from home to put down on the stairs. Because of all the water, mud and gravel we did not want to track it through this beautiful home. The home is very nice inside. It was clean bright and welcoming. It had all the amenities you could ask for. Plenty of room super comfortable beds. They pretty much think of everything that you could possibly need. Really all you have to bring is your clothes and your toothbrush. There's plenty of books and games. You can even just chill and watch the big screen TV after a hard day of snowmobiling. Hard to ask for anything more will definitely be staying again. And if we used any of the products that we did not think to bring we sure make sure to replace what we used with some fresh stuff. We even gave a couple night lights to the home.
It truly was a great UP experience. Way better than staying in some hotel like we did last year. I don't think we will ever stay at a hotel again as long as this home is available we will change your schedule around its availability. Jane thank you once again for a truly excellent experience

What a terrific property! Our group of 4 men were seeking a place on the peninsula that was convenient for snowmobiling. At first glance, I didn't think much of the property, but after reviewing the online photos and other user reviews, we booked it. The price was more than fair and upon arrival, we were thrilled with how clean and accommodating the upper level unit was. Attention to every detail was made to ensure the comforts of home were offered. The high speed internet, smart TV, full kitchen, and the bedrooms were terrific. We enjoyed using the kitchen as our base camp for meals and the living area with the comfortable seating and large smart TV were perfect. The 1 king and 2 queen beds were extremely comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The updates to the space made this old structure feel modern as well. We'll be back! THANK YOU!
We had a wonderful stay in the middle of January. The street car station is perfectly placed in the Kee to see it all by sled. It is located right near the trail. The place is very nicely decorated and the large bedrooms contain very comfortable beds. The kitchen is outfitted with everything you need and is very clean and up to date.
The owners were very professional and all transaction went according to plan.
I highly recommend this place to stay if you're planning a sled vacation in the Kee.
The Keweenaw Peninsula is known for its beautiful Lake Superior shoreline. We are on the Mt. Bike/ATV/snowmobile trail, and centrally located to historic Calumet, Mt. Bohemia, Copper Harbor, and the Houghton/Hancock area (Michigan Technological University)
