Bright 2 bedroom apartment with balcony overlooking the sea, port and mountain

Situated in a prime location directly on the southern end of the port of St Cyprien Plage, our bright and sunny apartment is on the third floor of a quiet residential building overlooking the port. It has a lift and private enclosed car park, and offers an ideal base from which to explore this beautiful area. A €1 bus travels the coastal area between Perpignan and the Spanish border, the Rapatel stop is three minutes walk from the apartment. Wake up each morning to warm bright sunshine and beautiful views of the sea and mountains from the double bedroom and the open plan kitchen corner/dining/living area, which open onto the petite balcony. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast al fresco and a relaxing drink in the evening as you look over the third largest port on the Med! Idyllic! The smaller second bedroom has bunk beds and a wardrobe. The bathroom consists of a shower, vanity unit and a washing machine, there is a separate toilet. There are ceiling fans in the living area and main bedroom, and there is a portable aircon unit. There is a double sofa bed in the living area, a two seater couch, coffee table, and flat screen TV with French channels. The dining area is equipped with a table with four chairs, and there is a small bistro table with two chairs on the balcony. The apartment is within minutes stroll of a supermarket (Franprix 8 minutes), restaurants, cafés and bars (approx 5 mins), and the beach is a leisurely 10 minute stroll along the port. The nearest restaurant is on the ground floor of the building - the very popular and intimate restaurant MPP overlooking the port and specialising in seafood. There is also a self service launderette. The port comes alive at night with plenty of entertainment for all the family, and (very conveniently) is pedestrianised in the evenings, so you can experience at your leisure the shops, artisan stalls, wonderful restaurants and ambience this beautiful resort has to offer. Just leave your car in the car park and stay local!

We are an Irish family who have holidayed in France over the past twenty years and have always loved the French way of life. For the last decade we have been regular visitors to St Cyprien and hope to spend a lot more time here on our retirement, such is our love of this beautiful region.

Location, location, location! When we stepped into our apartment for the first time, we were blown away by its brightness and its magnificent views. Subsequently, we were chuffed to hear the driver of the little tourist train describe the building as having "the best views in St Cyprien" shortly after we purchased our little gem! Add to this the proximity of a wide range of attractions and conveniences, it's easy to see why we are happy to recommend the apartment for a relaxing break any time of the year.

Lovely setting let down by cleanliness

Apartment has a wonderful outlook and view of the marina. However it was let down by the cleanliness and items that required some attention or renewing. This maybe because it was the end of the season but was detrimental to the enjoyment of our stay.

A wonderfully sunny apartment

The accommodation was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a 2-week stay. The apartment is spacious and had all facilities necessary. My first impression was how amazingly sunny and bright it was. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the lounge and master bedroom overlook the harbour which gave me hours of pleasure watching the boats come in and out.

The secure parking for the car was an added bonus, not that there appeared to be any fear of theft or vandalism in this beautiful part of the world.

There are an abundance of restaurants and bars nearby although the apartment is situated at the quieter end of the resort. All meals taken in any of the former were of a high standard.

It is situated in an area where there is loads to explore and even visiting northern Spain isn't too far. If you love France, as we do, and like to combine sightseeing with good food and relaxation this is the place for you.

I would highly recommend this apartment for families or couples and I will certainly pass this jewel on to my friends and family.

Fantastic stay in St. Cyprien

My partner and I stayed in this lovely apartment in July. We were met by the friendly and helpful rep. Roméo. The apartment was bright, comfortable and immaculately clean with the most stunning views. We were close to everything; the beach, restaurants, supermarkets and shops. While we loved St. Cyprien we took the €1 bus down the coast and explored the pretty little town of Collioure.

We would 100% return to St.Cyprien and this beautiful apartment.

Comfortable apartment with stunning views

The location and views directly over the marina to the foothills of the Pyrenees in the distance are unbeatable, and can be enjoyed round the clock sitting at the café-style table on the balcony. Inside, everything is spotlessly clean and comfortably laid out and appointed. The main bedroom shares the balcony with the living area, so you can enjoy the views even when in bed; whereas the second bedroom is small and windowless but received no complaints from our two 10 year olds. The owners are a pleasure to deal with, so it would be hard to find a better apartment at this price point.

Superbe location

There is a sports centre with tennis courts and fitness area at Les Cappellans, approx 10 minutes walk from the apartment. For a family fun day out, the famous water park, Aqualand, is only a 5 minute drive away. The beautiful little town of Collioure is a must see and is a short 15 minute drive along the coast, or take a boat trip down and spend a relaxing day there! Discover the coastline between Perpignan and the Spanish border at your leisure on the €1 bus - this stops at the Tourist Office, a five minute walk around the Port. The Tourist Office is open daily, with friendly English speaking staff who will provide you with lots of ideas to enhance your holiday.

Changeover day is Saturday or Sunday. Check in from 16:00 to 18:00 on day of arrival, check out up to 11:00 on day of departure.
Included in price: electricity, cleaning, and for your convenience, towels and bed linen are provided. Beach towels are not supplied.
*We have basic oral French but can understand written French so please don't hesitate to email*

Prices are per week in Euro. Contact us for long winter lets - monthly rate available.

Security deposit of €200 required with balance of payment, this will be refunded two weeks after your departure assuming no damage or breakages during your stay.

Cancellation Policy
Full refund if cancelled more than 30 days before check-in date, less a fee of €50 to cover administration costs.
