About the property

Brand new kitchen/living room renovation completed September 2014. The remodeled kitchen includes all new cabinets, granite counter tops and backsplash, ceramic tile floor extending into the living and dining area, and all new GE Profile stainless steel appliances. All rooms freshly painted. All new furnishings included throughout.

This third floor two bedroom condo is located on the desirable southwest side of building, offering the privacy of a split bedroom layout, and features an open living area. Living room includes flat screen TV and direct access to furnished lanai. Entire unit also has WIFI Internet provided. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom and wireless phone. The master bedroom contains a king size bed and flat screen TV. The second bedroom contains two twin beds. Both bedrooms have sliding glass doors onto the lanai. Washer and dryer are located in the unit.

From the lanai, living room and both bedrooms you can enjoy breathtaking sunsets and have spectacular views of the gulf. The unit offers private beach access, beach chairs, umbrella and ice chest, tennis courts, fitness room, sauna, BBQ area and covered assigned parking. It is located in the much sought after south beach section of Marco Island and within walking distance to restaurants, shops and the movie theater.

There is a 28 day minimum rental period.

We stayed in this unit for the month of April and enjoyed it very much. This is a beautiful, clean condo. The bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to make your own meals. The owners are very easy to work with. We are looking forward to our return next year!

Beautiful, Modern Unit With Spectacular Views of the Beach and Gulf

We stayed two months in this unit and loved every minute. The newly remodeled kitchen with its granite counter tops, brand new stainless steel GE appliances and comfortable bar stools is the center piece of the unit. In addition, great care has been taken by the owners to tastefully decorate the unit with many items such as the beautiful breakfront in the living room that displays many interesting plates, bowls, glassware, etc.

There are two new flat screen TVs, one wall mounted in the master bedroom and the other in the living room. The master bedroom includes a king size bed with a very comfortable (!) mattress and good reading lamps. The second bedroom is spacious and includes two single beds, a small dresser and full closet. The unit includes free Wi-Fi and a land line for local calls. If you are a beach lover (as we are), you will appreciate the new beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and big beach towels.

The terrace has very nice new outdoor furniture. We love sitting out with our morning coffee but it is in the evening when you really appreciate the unit's south-facing location. From the terrace you have a perfect view of the many spectacular sunsets for which Marco Island is famous. With your favorite beverage in hand, there is no better place to be than overlooking South Marco Beach at sunset.

The owners are wonderful people who are helpful and accommodating. In addition, Sandcastle 1 is managed by a board of owners who care deeply about the property and a resident staff who work hard to ensure the property is maintained at a very high level. The common areas of the building ---- lobby, pool, social room, etc. ---- always look great. We look forward to our return next year!!
