We booked for 7 nights in August 2018 but only stayed for 5

Negatives The rental is on first floor of a large house tenants live on the ground floor you just need to be aware of this which is not clear upon first review The major problem is the accommodation is old and tired and requires major update. In particular the bed mattresses are awful. To the extent that after a few days all of the family were complaining of aches and not enjoying a good nights sleep. The accommodation also does not have any fans so can be uncomfortable at night. Hence our decision to leave early Positives Location is beautiful and the terrace is lovely. Lots of activities with lake close by plus rafting which was great with kids. Unfortunately this does not compensate for the poor internal accommodation

Emplacement idéal pour visiter le pays basque. Maison agréable , bien équipée qui correspond à l’annonce,avec une magnifique piscine. Nous avons passés de très bonnes vacances.

Excellent séjour

La maison est idéalement située pour séjourner dans la région. Elle est à 30min de tous les points à visiter dans les alentours, de la cote basque au début des Pyrénées, avec des visites et activités pour tous, en passant par la gastronomie. Maison propre, grande et bien équipée (cuisine, billard, piscine, table de ping pong...). Elle est située au calme et permet de bien se reposer également. La déco ressemble à celle de mes grands parents et n'est pas au goût du jour, mais ce n'est pas une surprise car les photos sont nombreuses. Si l'on sait y faire abstraction les moments de convivialité restent nombreux. Très bon contact avec le propriétaire. Je recommande.
