This beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bath ranch home with volume ceilings located on a large premium lot is located in the Village of Chatham equally located between Spanish Spring and Sumter Landing Town Squares. Within 5 minutes you will find Nancy Lopez Legacy Country Club/championship golf course and restaurant, 4 free executive golf courses, restaurants, a shopping center, recreation centers, a family swimming pool and an adult pool and on and on. The only thing you will need is time and a fun attitude, the Villages has everything else.

This beautifully furnished home is designed for fun and entertaining. In the dining & living room and both bedrooms, you will find newly installed wood laminate floors. In the living room you will enjoy two cushy leather Lazy Boy rocking swivel recliners aimed directly at a 37' flat screen Cable TV. WIFI is included. Looking to your right you will find a wraparound granite bar/counter and in the dining area a dining room table for 6 with an extension. This area flows right into the ceramic tiled kitchen where you will pleased to find everything you need right down to the crystal wine glasses. The kitchen comes complete with premium appliances including microwave, dishwasher and kitchenware to satisfy all of your culinary needs. The open concept floor plan with vaulted ceilings lends itself to the feeling of spaciousness.

The master bedroom has a new king size bed & 32' flat screen TV. Wash basins and walk in closet with double hangers lead to the ceramic tiled bathroom with shower & seat. The large second bedroom has a queen bed and desk & small TV. You will be pleased to find a larger than normal closet with double hangers. Right outside of the bedroom is the ceramic tiled bathroom with a tub/shower.

We are sure one of your favorite haunts in the morning and evenings will be the large lanai overlooking the spacious yard & open fields. A Weber gas grill is just outside.

The deep one and a half car garage houses a beautiful (and speedy) Yamaha Gas golf cart for your cruising & golfing pleasure. Also found in the garage is ample shelving, work bench and upgraded Maytag washer and dryer.

Owner is a nearby Villages resident and looks forward to helping you enjoy your stay. Maximum 4 persons.

The Villages is a community for active adults 55+. All Village rules & regulations must be followed at all times. Young visitors are allowed for a limited time period.

Family activities are provided.

$50 (optional) Temporary Villages ID allowing full use of all facilities.

Nearby adult and family pools, many executive golf courses and 20 minutes from Spanish Springs and Sumter Landing squares

Quiete neighborhood

The owners live next door and were very nice. The home needs a total make over. The linens and kitchen items were a hodge podge of yard sale items. The living room furniture was way to big for the small space which made it very overcrowded. The table on the lanai had a broken leg and I had to clean the lanai as it probably hadn't been swept in months. Some of the throw pillows on the lounges were moldy. The neighborhood is quiet, however.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the review. Quite surprised after 100% 5 star reviews for past 4 years and did not hear any of these comments during 2 month stay some of which could have easily been addressed during the stay as were a number of other minor issues. While some linens may be dated and will be carefully reviewed and updated if necessary rest assured there is nothing in our home that is "yard sale"!

The Villages

The house contained everything needed and was clean and bright. However, it is difficult to go from place to place unless you live there. The golf cart is a nice feature, but my wife would not drive it. I became ill and cannot give an honest assessment of our stay.

"Home away from Home"

We loved our stay at this home in the Villages. The house was up to date, immaculate and fully furnished with beautiful decor and nice accents on the walls. The kitchen was fully equipped with pots and pans, dishes, silverware, dish towels, just about anything you need to cook a meal.

We were four adults traveling together and the two bedrooms had plenty of room and comfortable beds. It was especially nice to have 2 full size bathrooms equipped with towels.

The booking was very easy and the owner greeted us upon arrival and told us to go right in.

From check-in to check-out we were highly impressed. We highly recommend this rental.

My wife and I enjoyed our week stay at your rental. The house was fully equipped as advertised. The house was nicely decorated and very clean. It was conveniently located to golf courses, the neighborhood pool and recreation center. We would highly recommend this rental. We look forward renting it in the future.

Exceptional Rental

Since travelling to the Villages this has been a most rewarding experience at Southland. Well kept and maintained by the owner with everything you could possibly need in the home. The owner was more than attentive to our needs and was extremely professional. The golf cart performed very well which is a must in the Villages. A great BBQ was used often and we spent lovely evenings in the liani. Highly recommended.

Winter vacation rental

Our experience was very enjoyable. The landlord was very helpful and when he was not available, his neighbor filled in very well with any problems that we had. The house was equipped well and we enjoyed the outside grille many times during our stay. It is a very pretty home and is decorated very nicely. We enjoyed having a gas station and Publix close where we could use the golf cart. We enjoyed our stay very much and found this house to be one of the best places that we have rented.

What makes Southland such a great spot is the delightful open floor plan inside and the spacious yard outside unlike most Villages homes that have neighbors completely surrounding them. The quiet cul de sac in front and the farm in the rear affords a wonderful quiet atmosphere.
