Great accommodations and convenient location

  • 5 of 5

The guest house was very comfortable and nicely furnished. The furniture and kitchen facilities were more than adequate for our use.

The property is located relatively close to major roads so access to local attractions was easily accomplished. It is far enough that there is no discernible traffic noise and the back courtyard patio is very relaxing. In addition, there are nice restaurants and reasonable grocery stores close by with good deli products for quick meals.

The wifi and cable worked well and we had no problems with connectivity.

I would recommend this property to my fiends and anyone that is looking for a comfortable quiet place to stay in the Tucson area.

An Oasis

  • 5 of 5

We can't say enough about this wonderful guesthouse in Tucson. Reservations were easy and Candace made sure that all was provided in the guest house that we needed. It truly is an oasis in the city. It was quiet, safe and relaxing. The neighborhood is landscaped in such a way that you feel like you are out in the desert instead of just a short distance from downtown. And it is located close to a major street that will take you where you need to go in short order and there are restaurant, markets, drugstores very close. The guesthouse has everything you will need to have a comfortable stay. There is also an outside seating area to relax and enjoy the wildlife. We highly recommend this property and we look forward to staying there again. These folks are very special and we thank them for there care and concern during our stay.

Love the place!

  • 5 of 5

This is our second year renting this guest house in February and we are very pleased! You couldn't ask for nicer owners who live next door. They give you your privacy but are ready and willing to help in any way.

We love the one bedroom guest house and patio. The thick Adobe wall around the two houses keeps the inside and patio cool. The guest house itself is so pretty and nicely furnished. Makes us feel right at home.

There are so many terrific places to eat out but we also enjoy putting something on the grill and steaming some fresh veggies in the electric skillet.

Walking the development is almost like visiting the Desert Museum, all natural desert plants with critters running out ahead. It's a comfortable 1.8 mile round trip walk to Safeway, Walgreens, Whole Foods and our two absolute favorites Frost Gelato and Beyond Bread!

We look forward to returning.

Beautiful casita in Tucson

  • 5 of 5

We just returned from a great week at Candace's and Rob's casita in the Casas Adobes area of Tucson. The location was perfect; the casita was charming and spotless; from the moment we walked in, we thought it was beautiful. The casita is next door to their house, but we felt very private. It is furnished with southwest charm, and Candace even provided fresh flowers and York mints to welcome us.

In addition, Candace went out of her way to accommodate us - drawing us a map of the area, providing us with suggestions and other maps, and even doing laundry for us.

We couldn't have imagined a more perfect place to be.

We spent a great month as guests. Casita was well set up and freshly decorated. Our hosts, although new to renting, were professional in every way way, very friendly and helpful. Location was great- five minutes drive from good shopping and restaurants, yet in a desert setting with abundant cacti and wildlife. Seemed like we were far out in the country. A wonderful location for a quiet vacation!
