Duval Breeze was a great place to stay in Key West. We would most certainly stay again. Easy access to Duval Street. Great pool. Clean place to stay.
I would strongly recommend this place! The house is not only clean and beautiful, but also it's at the most convenient location with walking distance to everything! On top of that, it has a dedicated parking spot which is hard to find in Key West! I would definitely stay here again next time!
Property was conveniently located on Duval Street just south enough from the action to be quiet yet an easy walk to shops and food. 5 min walk to Southernmost Point, 10 min walk to Margaritaville. Condo was quiet - is at far end of complex away from the main street. Pool was great, parking easy (gated parking garage below the condos). Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again next time. Management office was on top of everything, from booking to checkout and then follow up.
The AC went out and no one was eager to help. Called at 10pm and it took until mid afternoon the next day to fix it, which was horrible in the middle of July. Unit reached 87 degrees and we were sweating all night and day. Plus the AC doesn't cool the up stairs anyways which was VERY noticeable and trying to sleep upstairs was terrible. There was easy stuff that can be fixed, like the blinds on the windows. If they are grossing roughly $8,000 per month of rent, they can afford to spend $500 and replace the blinds. Other than that, the unit was clean, and the 2nd floor "roof-top community" was nice. Pool is small but did the job, just don't expect to allow kids to jump in the pool all day. Asked for early check in, but they quickly said no. Just no. Like they didn't check and see if it was ready, just said no. We walked from the Key West Ferry dockage, which was pushing it, but made it just fine. Walked back down to Mallory Square and Front street areas everyday.
Excellent location, great accommodations for our week long vacation. Place was a little light on cooking equipment, and we had an ant problem the first day - but otherwise ok. Very quiet neighborhood, and VERY secure.
1/2 mile walk to the action on Duval - which we called our sobering walk. Would definitely stay again!
We recently went to Key West for a friend's wedding, which was held at a fairly expensive hotel. We split the condo rental with another couple, and it worked out fabulously. The complex has a perfect location off of Duval Street, which made traveling the island on foot very easy. We did rent bikes and mopeds for more expansive views of the island, but it is certainly not necessary. Even though there are many units, it never seemed very busy, and there was always room in the pool. The unit itself was great - lots of space, and perfect for what we needed. The central air was a life saver after a long, hot, humid day. It was also very clean, secure, and had all of the living essentials that allowed us to settle right in. I personally appreciated all of the dog pictures as I missed my own back home!
