All new stainless appliances will make your time in the kitchen quick, easy and satisfying.
Meander upstairs to the master bedroom with bath ensuite and private deck. Bathroom is smaller than average with all the essentials to rejuvenate you in the morning to start your day off right or after some fun in the sun. Guest bedroom with private deck overlooks the lushly landscaped walkways that Truman Annex is known for. Guest bathroom in the hall is compact and neat with a full size washer/dryer so pack light.
Air conditioned, parking near the back gate, dining deck, front porch on charming brick walkway, bedroom balconies, 3 TVs, new fully equipped kitchen, new washer/dryer, WIFI. What else could you ask for? It’s all here; the only thing missing is you!
Truman Annex, surrounded by historic buildings and tropical flora, is only a short walk to Duval Street, the finest restaurants and bars, great shopping, historic sites, the Sunset Celebration at Mallory Square and Tropic Cinema where you can see the latest art films. If you arrive by car, there will be no reason to use it during your stay. All the joys of Key West are within easy reach of Crowner’s Jewel.

Complex is very nice. The showers in this unit are extremely small. The bathroom in the master is literally a closet. Location is great. No need for a car. Skip renting a car if you fly into KW.

The company we booked the condo with was incredible! They are fast and attentive during the entire process. They even have an App! Any questions you may have already had an answer in the app; wireless passcode, directions to restaurants, etc. It was like have a personal concierge.
Location, location, location! Perfect..Yes the master bath is small but it works. The showers in both bathrooms are tiny very tiny. The sofa is old and very hard to sit on since you sink down in it and forget the pull out terrible. The bed in the master is also old and you sink into the middle. If you are renting a condo, there is no excuse for old and tired furniture. We pay a nice price and we should be able to enjoy our stay. Again Location is why we picked it! There was not one wine glass or martini glass in the place, no excuse for that either. The glassware was terrible! small thing but it matters! Until they upgrade the place I would not recommend it or if they lower the price to go along with the condition of the condo..It was very clean when we checked in so that was very nice!...
What a vacation rental’s posting fails to reveal can lead to disappointment. This was our experience in renting this property in Key West. While the location was good, the two upstairs bathrooms were not.
The only photo of a bathroom in this rental is of the one upstairs off the hall and it looked acceptable. What is not shown is the shower. Opening the curtain reveals a mini-shower with badly cracked tiles on the front lip. Previous reviews have described this as a “small” shower. How small? It’s 28” deep by 26” wide. By the time you allow for the protruding shower head and handle, you are standing in a space barely more than 2’ x 2’. It felt like being in an RV bathroom. If you’re a woman, shaving your legs was a real challenge and it resulted in a fall.
The bathroom in the master bedroom was worse. We saw a closet. When the two folding doors were opened, we discovered the “small bath ensuite”---a water closet within inches of the bed. Privacy was non-existent. Once inside with the doors closed, there was only 2’ between the door and the inside wall. And yes, it had the same size mini-shower.
We had two conversations with the rental agent while in Key West regarding the listing’s failure to disclose the serious limitations of the 2 upstairs bathrooms. We requested an adjustment in the cost but are in our second week at home and no reply has been received as promised. The agent told us in our face-to-face meeting that we should have asked more questions before signing the rental agreement. Translation: Renters beware! We will look elsewhere for next year.
the upstairs bathrooms in this rental are a deal breaker! had we known just how big the shower stalls really were and that the master bathroom was tiny and lacked proper privacy doors, we would have never rented this unit. the pictures do not accurately depict the size of the shower stalls (barely over 2 feet wide), the size of the master bathroom or the lack of proper bathroom doors in the master bedroom. what looks like a closet door in the picture of the master bedroom, is actually the master bathroom door! the shower stalls are so small that shaving your legs is almost impossible and you can forget about washing your hair, you have to turn sideways. it looks like they took one nice sized hall bathroom and combined it with the closet in the master bedroom and made two teeny tiny bathrooms. there are no bathtubs! and to add to the fun, the hot water heater could not keep up. there were only three of us staying and the third person was stuck with a cold shower. i cant imagine what would happen if this rental was at full occupancy! the location was great, the house was clean, kitchen well appointed, the decks were fantastic but we would never stay here or recommend this unit to anyone. at this price point, the bar is set a little higher.
