About Suzanne Knapp

My parents purchased the property many years ago. Seven children grew up on the farm. I love landscaping and you'll be able to tell when you visit. Large open lawns with hundreds of trees and flowers on the banks of the Walla Walla River and Yellowhawk Creek.

Suzanne Knapp purchased this bed and breakfast in 1961

Why Suzanne Knapp chose Walla Walla

You'll never find a more private getaway, yet so close to town. New beds and furnishings in most of the home. If you want authentic small farm life, this is the place for you. Chickens, ducks, guineas and kitties abound. Shared access to home's amenities.

What makes this bed and breakfast unique

Comfy Country living just 10 min to town

  • 5 of 5

From the minute you drive up to Suzanne's home and are greeted by the Chickens and ducks you know you are in for a special experience. Suzanne is a wonderful host, amazing cook and the property flanked by two rivers is super relaxing. These are special places along the river to sit, reflect and dream. Her breakfasts are fantasti so and the scones the best we have ever had. We stayed in the Lola suite which was comfortable and perfect for our weekend. Highly recommend this B and B. Felt like home.

Fabulous! Only regret is we didn't stay longer!

  • 5 of 5

Such a delightful stay we had. All we wanted to do was relax and recharge - this was the perfect spot. Between the river side seats, the hammock, the delicious breakfasts, the comfy beds and the roaming chickens - we couldn't have asked for a better trip. We only ventured into town 1 evening, such a cute town, but we just wanted to sit and read.

Thanks Suzanne for a delightful stay.

Fabulous stay

  • 5 of 5

Thank you Suzanne for a splendid and most welcoming stay. This is the second time we have planned our Walla Walla trip specifically so we could spend a couple of days in this beautiful home. The tranquility is soothing to the soul and the only sounds you hear are those of her lovely guinea hens and chickens.

We will be back soon.

This was one of the best places we have ever stayed in. Very clean and modern, loved the wonderful food. Truly loved how we felt it was 'our' home. Suzanne is a great hostess. We will most definitely go back!

Owner's Response: Thanks for your recent visit. If you choose Walla Walla as your eventual home, you won't be disappointed. It's a friendly but sophisticated little town, that grows in opportunities every year. Besides the amazing wineries, the local music and theater scene is vibrant as well. There's always something going on at one of the local colleges and many community events. I can't wait for KiKi to move here. The best kitty guest ever!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

  • 5 of 5

It was thoroughly plush (clean, quaint, heated bathroom floor, hot tub), very country (ducks, chickens, guinea hens, kitties), then add to that the amazing breakfast each morning and it all added up to the perfect weekend getaway. I felt more like a guest in Suzanne's house than a vacation renter. We so enjoyed all of it!
